I don't really care where Linday sells as long as they keep making DAZ products. The quality of both their promos and their products is consistently top 0.1%, there's no AI, and they've made some of the most iconic and best looking hair products on the market.
They're one of the few vendors whose products I buy on release day, especially their hairstyles and fantasy stuff.
Everyone other hair vendor seems to go for 25 million polygon strands that don't even look good most of the time. (Seriously so many new DAZ Originals are made of
25 million polygons and still have bald spots. WTF?)October 16, 2026 at 8:14 PM #2191934Yes I highly doubt a single person has posted 111,878 times since 2003. That’s at least seven posts a day, every single day since October 2003, at all hours of the day and night. It’s definitely a job, and a concerted effort, that’s for sure. It’s the company’s collective voice, allowing them to say whatever they want and delete comprimising opinions without ever having to admit it was them.
October 16, 2026 at 4:46 PM #2191911Talent is definitely not what comes to mind when I see
his stuffthe stuff whatever AI generated it or wherever he stole it from to resell... Aad he’s been selling AI crap on the official Daz store, while Richard Haseltine has the balls to delete forum posts calling it out and deny that there’s AI content in the store, even though Daz supposedly bans all AI generated content... make it make sense. Now with SynthID’s website publicly available, anyone can scan textures to find out which AI was used to generate them.
October 8, 2026 at 7:13 PM #2191108Anyone wanting to try out the quality can find a male and a female model posted as freebies on the artist’s DeviantArt page. They include custom expression morphs, a feet morph, two hairstyles, facial hair, body hair, and makeup. It’s free and brand new.
The scene subset is a bit stupid, because you can easily save the morphs yourself. Same with all the hair assets. The textures are loose, and even if they weren’t, you could export those too.
The only thing I don't like is the textures are slightly stylized, and some lights and shadows are painted.
I’ve always been on the fence about getting some of their models, but they’re expensive as fuck. He could make Daz Originals so we don’t get all these female clones like Lilith, 5-6 weeks after Isabella, only for her to be a Leona/Madison/Brianna/Kristina sister. You can tell which PA makes each DO...
October 2, 2026 at 3:27 PM #2190355There is "usually" a gap in September during the PA Sale, with no Core Characters releases, which may have made sense when Premier did not exist.
In 2022–2023, G9 Characters were released mostly every 7–14 days.
There were also a few gaps of 3 to 5 weeks. In 2024, the schedule shifted closer to one character every 2 weeks.
Most figures were released weekly. A few took 21 days. There was a 42 day gap between Toshi 9 (Aug 30) and Vicky 9 (Oct 11).
Premier did not exist yet during that gap.Premier launched in October 2024.
From then on, subscribers received one Character Bundle coupon every month. In 2025, releases were usually 14 days apart.
There was a 35 day gap between Bishop 9 (Aug 28) and Audrey 9 (Oct 2).This gap happened with Premier already active.
A Premier subscriber could receive a monthly Character Bundle coupon, but there was no new G9 Core Character for 35 days. Instead, there were some PA Character Bundles eligible for the coupon during the PA Sale.In 2026, the schedule became much more regular.
From Wendy 9 (Jan 15) to Frankie 9 (May 21), every release was exactly 14 days apart. There was then a 21 day gap before Sydney 9 (Jun 11).
After that, releases returned to roughly 14 day intervals.Isabella 9 was released on Aug 27, 2026.
As of Oct 2, 2026, there has been no new G9 Core Character for 36 days. This is particularly relevant under Premier:
one monthly Character Bundle coupon + no new character for more than a month = fewer opportunities to use that benefit on new content, especially for customers who already own the older eligible characters or simply don't like the ones being offered that month.Last year they made 3 Character Bundles eligible to use the Premier coupon during the PA sale, which were two stock dolls and whatever that thing is:
https://www.daz3d.com/eg-uksn-hd-for-genesis-9
https://www.daz3d.com/mb-thandey-hd-for-genesis-9-feminine
https://www.daz3d.com/lunardo-for-genesis-9This year no bundle was made eligible, because I don't know what the fuck happened with customer consideration or whatever.
Nothing replaces a good G9 character anyways.
October 2, 2026 at 12:49 PM #2190340In my opinion the problem isn't “this PA used AI”, but the “you'll never know whether we're genuinely struggling to detect AI during QA” part, or whether “we are turning a blind eye to blatant weird looking / AI products because we can and we don't want to lose sales”.
Then you have a $39.99 bundle full of undisclosed slop sitting there before discounts, shattering any customer trust left. They keep saying “we don't allow AI at all”, while you can find products from 2025 and 2026 with sloppy 3D meshes, textures that look like they've been through ChatGPT or Gemini, fully Chat GPT written descriptions and promo images that have been clearly AI edited. The main issue is the lack of transparency and the fact that customers are being told one thing while apparently getting something else.
Are we really supposed to believe that a PA selling 400 AI products on RenderHub is using a completely different workflow just for their “AI-free” store? I can see this going one of two ways anyway. They'll keep denying everything and saying nothing, like they always do when something becomes uncomfortable, or eventaully they'll pretend to listen and add some kind of tag system. I don't think they'll add one as they don't seem particularly interested in enforcing their own No AI rule as it is, and a tagging system would just mean more work on top of that.
And then... you look at what keeps getting released every day and it's the same stuff over and over anyway."Sales got worse people don't buy" but all I see is less quality for more money, PAs literally releasing the same cookie cutter characters, underage girls every couple of days, cheap clothing, environments that are basically asset flips, AI generated props, endless poses packs... while customers still aren't told which products were actually made with traditional tools or used IA. They won't tell you that either.
Meanwhile some of the products people actually look forward to, like the true DO characters, are getting less frequent and more generic, especially the female ones, and then there's all the petty stuff that starts happening around this whole issue as well.
I don't care if someone uses AI. If that's what they're doing, just say so and apply the same rules to everyone. What I don't understand is having a “No AI” policy while apparently doing very little to enforce it.
It's like a shop advertising itself as “HANDMADE FURNITURE”, then selling cheap IKEA furniture as expensive handmade pieces because they don't want to lose the sale or admit they've been lying to customers. You might not care that it's IKEA, but you should at least know that's what you're paying for.
September 5, 2026 at 10:15 AM #2186742RFX Evelyn is Ana de Armas's in Black Ops.
September 1, 2026 at 10:12 PM #2186356Hi Slanna, Netfis3D is one of those PAs with their own personal unreleased characters, like Aeon Soul's, Princess PA, or Toyen.
I took a look at his catalog and I immediately recognized DAZ G9 characters, but others like this girl appear frequently and are their private characters. My eye tells me there is maybe some Addy on them, with smaller eyes, and several Core characters mixed in. Fabiana has also great models, which end up being simpler mixes of DO characters with softening morphs.
August 10, 2026 at 10:08 AM #2184067It's the daily AI-generated banner, they have been using AI for the text for over a year now, and recently they also started making the characters and backgrounds with it. Just take a look at the lazy banners from these past 4 days, they match the originality, quality, and polish of the products they choose to sell (none).
If you subscribe to their newsletter, they send an email every day featuring the new releases and the daily sale banner. You can use those emails as a catalog of incompetence, laziness, and a massive lack of integrity, while 'appreciating' whatever banner they generated that day.
July 22, 2026 at 9:58 PM #2181279Nothing like using a 3D forum (from a piracy website) to throw a tantrum over digital plastic lips and genitalia while screaming about the "global cabal" completely blind to the fact that their own paranoid little circlejerk is already the most pathetic cult on the web. Time to rename it from GFX to "EchoChamberGFX," because nothing screams free thinker quite like a bunch of basement dwellers patting each other on the back for saving humanity from a Genesis 9's nose job and the 2 genital geografts included in their essentials pack.
July 7, 2026 at 9:26 PM #2179473The irony is that most of you are ranting about a "woke agenda" without actually understanding how these characters were made in the first place.
These shitty Daz Original characters came from DAZ AI Studio, an abandoned tool that basically generated characters by randomly mixing whatever Genesis 9 morphs the artist had available in their library. The artist only had to write the prompt and generate the thumbnails. So, what you're looking at is pretty much the result of someone clicking a "Random Character" button over and over again and picking the results that looked usable. The vast mayority of them share a creation date.
The morph pool the "PA" had was mostly made up of Genesis 9 Base, Xola https://www.daz3d.com/gideon-for-genesis-9 , Nathan https://www.daz3d.com/ezekiel-for-genesis-9 , Nikolai https://www.daz3d.com/anthony-for-genesis-9 , Walter https://www.daz3d.com/darius-for-genesis-9 , John https://www.daz3d.com/tristan-for-genesis-9 Julius https://www.daz3d.com/elias-for-genesis-9 , several Zacks https://www.daz3d.com/nathan-for-genesis-9 , Tabitha https://www.daz3d.com/claire-for-genesis-9, Cartoon Adult (etc) and the handful of proportions from the basic Daz 9 morphs Essentials pack, then it's not surprising that the AI kept producing the same general facial structure again and again, with only minor % differences. That's just how these systems work. They generated dozens of these in an afternon, so repetition was inevitable.
You're not looking at some carefully planned "uglification" campaign, you're looking at automated generation, a limited selection of morphs, and a lot of reused assets. There is no ideological secret tinfoild hat mission behind them.
Honestly, the most interesting thing here isn't even the characters themselves, but how quickly some people jump to a political explanation instead of looking at the actual production process, but it's not a suprise the most ignorant people are the ones jumping on those conclusions.
Sometimes the explanation is much less dramatic: someone pressed the Random button, got a bunch of results, and moved on. That’s it.
And regarding the uglification of the rest of the Daz Originals, yes, one of the 2 teams doing them are the ones doing most of the barbies which are copy paste and mixes of the previous 2-3 morphs, and other team makes the celebrity lookalikes like Sigrid Robin or Aro. Anyways, the person doing the morph is not the same as the one doing the texture sets, and most of the times the morphs are the problem.
July 3, 2026 at 3:45 PM #2179105@eelgoo Well yes amazing coincidence, not only for the likeness, but even the vertices decided to line up haha
July 2, 2026 at 3:16 PM #2179010Funny how most RKS characters are simply HID's or other PA's lookalikes merged.
Example:
>Take RKS Sarah Head to 100% and screenshot.>Remove RKS Sarah head and merge HID Sally Head with Dracarys Head from Sangriant.
>Add whatever morph used for the cranium. Screenshot and compare.
Boom you literally made RKS Sarah xd.
June 2, 2026 at 5:39 PM #2176547At this point I only want to know if they are nose diving with all the shitty decisions like NFT and falling for AI twice and failing.
May 23, 2026 at 1:23 PM #2175607Dude, the reason people keep clowning on you isn’t because you dislike Genesis 9. Tons of people dislike G9 for completely normal technical reasons. It’s because you somehow turn every discussion about 3D software into a rant about “ESG,” “the Matrix,” “degenerates,” “mental illness,” and “transhumanism.”
You sound like someone completely consumed by online conspiracy culture. The moment a mesh topology change becomes “proof” of a global ideological agenda, people stop taking you seriously.
And the fact that you instantly label anyone who disagrees with you as “brainwashed” or “triggered” just makes it even more obvious. Most people are trying to discuss software. You’re acting like DAZ Studio is the front line of some apocalyptic culture war. So take your obsession to an incel subreddit or something.
