That's kind of unexpected, isn't it? Although he/she/they took some flak on the DAZ forum for the "suggestive" poses on some more recent products I would have thought that the DAZ store still is the most efficient and lucrative platform to sell on. Interesting times.
October 18, 2026 at 11:32 AM #2192159I'm not familiar with this artist. Where did they/he/it/them/she come from?
October 18, 2026 at 11:51 AM #2192161They have been on Daz for a long time.
Their output is generally of a good quality, but tends to be poorly optimised in file sizes.
:0/
Generally speaking a vendor will sell on a site that gives the best deal, but of course things change over time.
October 18, 2026 at 12:39 PM #2192165I don't as a habit, keep track of names so I wasn't aware that they where the creators of that excellent series of Rococo rooms I use a lot. Maybe I should pay attention more?
Thanks.October 18, 2026 at 2:54 PM #2192180I don't really care where Linday sells as long as they keep making DAZ products. The quality of both their promos and their products is consistently top 0.1%, there's no AI, and they've made some of the most iconic and best looking hair products on the market.
They're one of the few vendors whose products I buy on release day, especially their hairstyles and fantasy stuff.
Everyone other hair vendor seems to go for 25 million polygon strands that don't even look good most of the time. (Seriously so many new DAZ Originals are made of
25 million polygons and still have bald spots. WTF?)October 19, 2026 at 7:36 AM #2192240I agree, it is a surprising move, Linday products are highly professional and top notch. It is probably a bad omen for Daz (but not the first and not the last). I just hope Linday will maintain their higher standards (quality control in RH being even more lax than at Daz).
October 19, 2026 at 10:30 AM #2192261yea you really have to wonder what's going on at Daz it seems that more and more of the artists have went to other places or are just not creating any more , I don't know if it's cause the new owners Tifa or what ever they are called took over or because G9 came out but it's almost like that's when all this stuff has started going on.
October 19, 2026 at 12:24 PM #2192265As I see it, as a whole, there has been a general decline in quality since the introduction of Genesis 9. :0/
October 19, 2026 at 3:17 PM #2192273There’s no need to turn every single thread into a “Genesis 9 bad” discussion.
G9 had its golden era, and its launch in October 2022 came months after DAZ became part of Tafi.
The problem is that the entire store has been going downhill.Stop blaming Genesis 9 for everything when the real issue is an official marketplace that increasingly feels like it’s being run by money hungry monkeys who care more about revenue than the quality of their products. We get AI promos and AI generated products shoved in our faces daily, and nobody’s out here burning buildings down over that. PA’s like Linday are being forced to test the waters on other storefronts.
In my opinion, all the existing stores are circuses full of slop, with only a handful of serious vendors left, and it gets even worse when you scream on the forums that AI is banned when it's clearly not.
So why is G9 still the scapegoat for everything that’s wrong with the store?
October 19, 2026 at 3:20 PM #2192276I'm just pointing out the time scale.
You can call it coincidence if you like, we are all entitled to our opinion.
