Like a mantis shrimp in a miniskirt.
July 29, 2025 at 8:58 PM #2138623What worries me about all this hubbub is, what will become of the personal infos of customers who have legitimately and legally purchased products from PAs whose content then gets them de-platformed for <fill in today's agenda>, when perhaps some stickybeak with a touch of authority begins enquiring?
It would be terrifying (and morally dubious to say the least) to wind up on some watchlist or worse because you used a bank card to buy an asset that then becomes artis-non-grata after the fact. How long before Kripos or Interpol begin demanding records from Renderhub, etc "just because"? I suspect those vendors who are quickest to purge their catalogs are also the easiest to bully with one court or another.
July 25, 2025 at 1:23 AM #2137847Or, just ignore the idiots and carry on. Shit has to stop *somewhere*.
June 30, 2025 at 5:19 PM #2134314You'll have to uninstall all products containing the offending files (good luck if you didn't use DIM) and re-install each to a separate Library so that you can include or exclude them as needed via the content manager at runtime.
June 30, 2025 at 5:14 PM #2134313I leave uBlock OFF for Zone as I prefer to leave the ads working, and somehow do not have this issue. anomize.xyz is working fine for me.
Zone is the ONLY domain I allow ads on, so they get the benefit. Thanks, Zone for not using page-breakers or obnoxious / unsafe advertising. Otherwise, I only ever disable it on a per-visit basis when I find uBlock breaks something.June 30, 2025 at 4:39 AM #2134234The real challenge is then getting 200 other similar-looking models into your scene without turning your CPU into glowing lava!
June 30, 2025 at 4:27 AM #2134233I predict Tafi will dump Daz off to some Norwegian holding company to be shuttered long before a Genesis 10 ever materializes. I have a feeling it's slowly going the way of NFTs and the Metaverse.
Blender is coming into its own, and I think it won't be long until you see unified frontends for it that make it into whatever enterprise app you need, since it already does it all... only these will hide the unnecessary bits from the end user. So Blender will be *just* a video compositor, or *just a modeler, or *just* a media center, all at the flick of a switch.June 30, 2025 at 4:19 AM #2134231Hey, I know that snail!!
Welcome back, pizza's in the fridge and your old butt-groove in the sofa is probably mostly intact _(^-^)/June 30, 2025 at 3:50 AM #2134228DMCA takedown notices are just a mosquito that needs occasional slapping, and it will bite anywhere a file is. That's simply our reality.
Using a pool of rotten zombie flesh to swim in, in an attempt to avoid the mosquito, is not a valid strategy. Best to abandon such places as that (Lookin at YOU Bunkr & friends) and just stick with the known clean and robust places. Mega, Mediafire, Google, Pixeldrain. Not much else is as reliable. Just remember you'll get the occasional mosquito bite, and move on.Also remember that Bunkr albums and files *are publicly searchable*!! That's a fucking dumpster fire alone if there ever was one. Nope Factor 9. I hate having to go there for a file, and I'll never be so daft as to host a file there. Just throwing that out there in the street.
At least you can discover all the world's worst porn ever created all in one pot.June 27, 2025 at 9:38 PM #2133943Interesting, but I'm not using anything like that. I have also tried on several different browsers and 3 different machines, pasted directly into the address bar (not referred from another domain), all but one have never before been to Bunkr, and I get the same non-functional result.
Images works, Videos works, Albums are working, but when you get down to Files, none work. Not even random ones from some random album or search.
Weird.
Is it possible you need to be logged in? I am not, and I'm not registering an account with Bunkr.
At this point, I'm simply ignoring literally any post noting Bunkr as the host, and any post marked "other hosting" as that's probably Bunkr too. I'll only click into a post noting Mega, Mediafire, Google, Pixeldrain, or "multiple hosting".
Nothing personal, uploaders, but I'm not wasting my time with chasing non-functional links.June 27, 2025 at 7:22 PM #2133894@jasethorn Consider using another host, Bunkr has done something funny and I discovered on your last two uploads that it's not cooperating. See my GenChat post.
Keep the 50 credits, I'll find it somewhere else, like usual. :/June 27, 2025 at 6:50 PM #2133881They both rip, and they both can go bite a rock.
June 13, 2025 at 6:16 PM #2132179Well, folks using Poser don't really comprise a user base that represents studio-deep pockets. Blender provides a much wider net to cast into much deeper waters. Remember, the jerks that provide that malware are fishing for dollars. Malware threats these days are basically always attacks targeted for efficiency.
June 12, 2025 at 1:48 PM #2132047I never tried the AI, I took a look at it and thought I went back in time 3 years. Nothing interesting there. And who would have thought NFTs would bomb so badly?! They're the wave of the future and full of Apes!
June 11, 2025 at 3:12 AM #2131905Thanks for helping @ulysses but waaay offtopic :p
@reinecarola Is that the main channel or public beta (or 2025 alpha)?
I've been reading similar horror stories in the release threads in Daz forum for all the 4.2x flavors.For the record, I've been messing with 4.24, and I haven't seen anything like the bug you describe. I have however noticed some morph shenanigans, some old scenes with my entire runtime present seem not to know the morphs are present when loaded, and models sometimes appear "wrinkled" or badly morphed. No error messages. Makes me wanna throw spaghetti at someone. >:{_}
