From what I read on RH, the dude created a morph to specifically generate anatomical elements for kids and gave it away for free. He even included language in the morph's page specifying that it was to create realistic gens for kids. That was the last straw apparently. Most people would agree that he needed to go. He threatened RH and the rest of the PAs there, not to mention that what he created is criminal in most countries.
And I'm not sure that Zone should be an achieve of illegal content. I don't see a big upside to that for hunter or the members.
@ulysses I read that entire thread. The guy said his vaginal and nipple morphs worked with all his characters. All his characters are female children. I'm really liberal when it comes to art, but I draw the line at the sexualisation of children, and anyone who is defending this and making the argument that it's just a group of evangelicals who are being censorious are entirely disingenuous and questionable.
@supreme-leech I honestly don't think that it's a good idea to host that shit here. I get that there's a need for an online archive to provide the stuff that's no longer available, and I support that, for the greatest part, but no person of good conscience and love and respect for the sanctity of children, their innocence and vulnerability would think that it's a good idea to host content that would violate that.The thing I found most creepy about that vendors content, was that the characters often seemed to have a teenage / adult head morph on a child's body.

I believe the speed limit should be 120mph. However a few people though that was unsafe an in order to make an attempt at saving the lives of the family of 5 in a minivan the officials decided to post speed limits.
I believe that the guy who cut me off in traffic while my daughter was in the car possibly put her life at risk. I should be allowed to break his legs with a bat but some people might think that a bit extreme and put limits on what people should and shouldnt do to others.
If you are for a society with no laws and each person decides what is and is not right for themselves then after WW3 you might feel right at home. Till the apocalypse and Mad Max start rolling out the oil barrels I'm fine driving 75 in a 70 mph zone
What worries me about all this hubbub is, what will become of the personal infos of customers who have legitimately and legally purchased products from PAs whose content then gets them de-platformed for <fill in today's agenda>, when perhaps some stickybeak with a touch of authority begins enquiring?
It would be terrifying (and morally dubious to say the least) to wind up on some watchlist or worse because you used a bank card to buy an asset that then becomes artis-non-grata after the fact. How long before Kripos or Interpol begin demanding records from Renderhub, etc "just because"? I suspect those vendors who are quickest to purge their catalogs are also the easiest to bully with one court or another.
If you were running for some high-end political office I'd bet anything you purchase, said, tweeted, emailed, texted, visited, ate, drank, smoked, looked at, read, ect... over your lifetime would be scanned through with a magnetic comb and an electron microscope. In the age of information and the slow building of big brother, you're not going to be able to keep much a secret. If something weird were to happen to me, my cellphone points to a visit here at this time. They know where I am right now because of GPS. They know what YT video I just watched and that Im browsing for new TV. ATM we are little people. Easily overlooked. A few pirates trading digital barbies. Piss off the wrong people at the wrong time over the wrong thing and it won't go well. That's been the case since man could pick up a rock and make his point known. I've no problem with sensible censorship. Unfortunately not all people value common sense while making decisions. That or they want to use it to leverage power over someone else.
As of today (31/7) Civitai has amended its TOS to exclude "Sexually Explicit Content " I gather that X and R rated products will still be available but the site will not allow the generation or images produced by them, though I'm sure it's just a matter of time before all NSFW material will be removed.

This is nothing but smoke and mirrors, let's look busy, while actual children are still being trafficked, sold into sex slavery and the common people are busy arguing or debating fiction.
Let's ban everything while we at it, horror, action, thriller, drama and pretend there's nothing but honey and milk in the world.
Those PA didn't hide or sold their products on the black-market, why would they, the real culprits are the ones you don't see or more often people like those.
If you look at many of them its easy to see they hate themselves and they ones that aren't 300 lbs with blue hair and a face full of shrapnel probably have the personality of a rabid chihuahua and have been neglected my whoever they've become infatuation with.
So if they cant be happy then no one can.
That said, I might fit the second description because I agree with banning certain things.
If you're referring to the Collective Shout mob you're spot on Adam. I'm ashamed to say they originate from my country. They may think they have good intent but the road to hell is paved with good intentions, particularly when you trample on the freedoms and rights of others. They identify as conservative Christians... surprise.... surprise. I too think that extreme things should be banned, but banning art, sex education books and video games is absurd.
