Why are people posting stuff with the NSFW image when the content is clearly NOT NSFW? It gives potential downloaders no idea what the item is, nor whether it's of any use. If you don't have an image of what you're uploading, RENDER ONE!! You've got the asset for God's sake!!

The latest perpetrator has a clearly Asian name and might not understand English enough. Someone needs to tell him. Then again, they should have used a translator to ensure they where following the rules.
I was wondering the same. The assets have images in the links. My OCD is hitting red, I just want to fix it so bad!
When you live in a woke world and absolutely EVERYTHING can offend any idiot, it's better to put this tag to avoid cancellation or banning.
Meh. It's probably just lazy. Having to post a link to an image is a hassle, tossing up the nsfw image is an easy short cut. There's better things to get triggered about imo
Little point in having rules if some are optional and others just overlooked because of who you are.
22 NSFW images, and yet some posted earlier, 4 to 8 days ago, have correct images [so knew what to do with those].
Smacks of just getting lazy and C.G.A.F...
All - Nguyễn Đình ĐứcI reported a number of these, but stopped just because of the absolute slew of them. At a certain point it's the user and not the posts that need to be dealt with.
It would help a lot if you guys would drop a few examples here 😀 In the request section, if I find something NSFW based on "my filter", I replace it manually with the default NSFW pic. But in my experience, we get many false reports too, because, for example, many people consider the nude featureless clay renders as NSFW too.
(But if it's a full-on sex scene, and the dear offerer just adds a tiny winy cover on the nipples, well that's still NSFW 😀 and I just removed that pic)Btw, answering a question from above: we ban a lot of people daily, who don't give a shit about warnings, or anything at all, but we do it mostly quietly so it won't bother the community 🙂
If you published daily 'plonk' numbers it might make folks behave and take the time to understand the rules and maybe follow them.
I'd rather see a filter setting for members. An 'I'm a grownup' button would enable viewing naughty bits. A 'I'm a whiny, self important, hypocrite and social justice warrior determined to impose my moralistic and religious views on everybody' button would send them to say, the Hentaied site or some random Japanese porn site.
Or better yet, a selection of the most outrageously bizarre, weird and creepy Loras on Civitai.@warrant63 It's the opposite of the problem you're describing -- the posts are SFW content, but using the default NSFW image instead of uploading a valid picture of the product.
