I'm astonished. Two incredible new tools released in two day in Daz Studio ?

Today, Daz released " Mesh Grabber "

    https://www.daz3d.com/mesh-grabber

And from what i could already see, i'm not the only one who saw that.

Is that what it is ? Is that what i will become ? Did they finaly made a tool that completly revamp and do in a more easily and user-friendly way what the old archaic D-Former Daz tool is doing ?!?!?

From what i could see, this tool will seem to become the spriritual succesor of the D-Former tool, just like Animated 2 is to the old archaic "Timeline" tool in Daz.

Again, i hope it'll make it's way here on the zone so i can try it out. (I've seen the open request in the request forum section. It look like i might have to jump on that bandwagon too if i want to get my hand on it. -_- )

The only thing i'm a bit afraid is....it is saying that it is a plugging. Does that mean like it is made like Animated 2, Measure Metric and LAMH ? Which mean you need a serial key to activate it ? Uhhng!!! That's bothersome....

Anyway, if anyone has tried it. Feel free to give your thought about that product.

Changes a LOT. Deform beds and chairs. No more Dforce questions here. Breast squishy.

ManFriday's plugins do not require serials. Just load and go. So far, so good.

Isn't the push modifier the same type of thing ?

Played with it just for S & G....
Gave G8F a penis... Did the Pointy breast things. Squished an ass on Chloe 8... Overall, seems like almost anything is possible.

Would love to try it but it will not install correctly on my PC.
The plugin directory doesn't have the plugin.
I used the .exe file downloaded here. Can't see the MF_meshgrab.dll

    Any tips??

    @flamer
It does not show up as a plugin. Click the Tools option on menu, and see if it is there, should be next to last tool in the list.

No it's not in the tool list, and nothing in the install directory.

    C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\Plugins\

There should be a MF_meshgrab.dll file there.

    Only works on 64-bit systems.

The PA himself has said the exe file itself will not complete the install - it MUST be installed via DIM. If possible can we get someone with ther installed plugin that works to upload the MF_meshgrab.dll file. This will allow us to complete the install. I have had to do this to most MF plug ins (which I usually end up buying as his work fills niches not filled by many other products).

    SDL.

The direct .exe worked fine for me, no need for DIM. Here's a link to the dll:

i dont use dim, so I also used the exe and it installed correctly.
You need to change the location path when you use the exe.
Are you sure the path the installer is showing you is the correct one?
That is the only reason why it would not be installing.
