AI doesn't destroy with nukes. They destroy with tech. And they are putting AI in a self-autonomous robot. And when they have perfected it, they will build an army to replace the working human race. Thousands of AI robots. And yes, there will be a day where they will give them a weapon like a gun, and there will be a day where the first AI robot will kill a human with a gun, and it will be justifiable by whatever authority is in charge of it.
September 27, 2025 at 6:32 PM #2146939Just tell me where I can find them now. Renderhub is not the last place in the world to sell 3D assets.
August 30, 2025 at 1:47 PM #2143275Daz staff did not learn from their own history. They went from a Omnimesh Genesis to Genesis 2, 3, and 8. I would say that Genesis 8 was their very best and most popular base, lasting over 5 years. Wake up Daz, Genesis 8 is proven, it works. The others only lasted 2 years.
From Google:
Daz 3D's first Genesis, a revolutionary base mesh system, was launched in 2011.
Daz 3D's Genesis 2 Male (G2M) was released on November 21, 2013.
Daz Genesis 3 figures were first released in June 2015.
Daz 3D's Genesis 8 figure was released in June 2017.
Daz 3D's Genesis 9 was released in mid-October 2022.Two years is up for Genesis 9. It's time to dump it for something better. I never liked it, and I never will. And I never want to see androgynous dudes in promos meant for chicks ever again.
March 14, 2025 at 5:00 AM #2121690Yes, one could look at all the characters released by a certain creator and find the one character that has the fairest skin, and somehow work with it, but either that's too time-consuming or can't find one. But sometimes, it's not specifically a texture problem, but the skin surface properties used are set too dark. And creators usually never give options to set the 'fairness' of the skin color.
March 11, 2025 at 12:52 AM #2121323The one thing I desire the most is skin color consistency across multiple characters. If I put two characters in the same environment, their skin color should look consistent. Take bluejaunte skin for example. It might render ok by itself, but put it next to any other character, and the skin color is way out of spectrum, like very dark. Drives me nuts. It's like every Daz artist is using a different skin palette. It's so damn non-cohesive.
November 20, 2024 at 7:27 PM #2103815You should check out FN Cream Drips For Genesis 9 too. What are they thinking?
November 19, 2024 at 6:50 PM #2103596It means AI bubble goes pop, and stock market crashes, probably in 2025.
When ChatGPT 5 arrives in 2025, people will begin to understand that AI doesn't scale up very well with big data, and cancel their billion dollar chip orders from nVidia.
April 21, 2024 at 10:41 PM #2071492I have never seen a nudity pic on DAZ. Ever. In the shop or in the galleries. They don't need filters. The site worked for years without them.
But, that was before RenderHub existed, so maybe they're looking at their competition, and thinking, they have filters, so maybe we need filters too. But there's a reason they have filters, they allow nudity, DAZ does not. So it's quite dumb to put filters on something that doesn't have nudity.
April 6, 2024 at 8:31 PM #2068916If DS5 "omniverse" goes cloud/subscription that will be the end of it for me. I've basically lost interest in it anyway.
That would be the death of Daz Studio. Users will be forced to create a NVidia account, and login every time they have to render something. All your data will be tracked and uploaded to NVidia's cloud-based service.
April 6, 2024 at 12:21 AM #2068787This was a timely theme release, out before Good Friday and Easter. No less suspicious than releasing a Santa Claus character before Christmas.
