Who makes the best G9 Skin mats?

Have you looked at any VYK models? Some of them have very pale skin.

Yes, one could look at all the characters released by a certain creator and find the one character that has the fairest skin, and somehow work with it, but either that's too time-consuming or can't find one. But sometimes, it's not specifically a texture problem, but the skin surface properties used are set too dark. And creators usually never give options to set the 'fairness' of the skin color.

I've done this in the past with various results. Some were better than expected others not so much.

Pull every primary texture file into PS. Edit the face by removing or adding color then apply it to the model while in Daz. If you like the results then apply the exact edit to every texture.

I've blended textures, colorized them, removed blemishes, ect... pretty easy to be honest. Most of the work is already done.

Dexon 3D is certainly high on the list, as are Emrys, Kadaj, Colm Jackson and Mousso. On a much, much lesser known, I find skins on hyp-st characters not too shabby. Tri-x has decent looking skin, but their makeup is just horrible. No woman or even drag queen would wear it.

Bluejaunte has been lauded as the best "realistic" skin PA but for G9 he's only making his own diffuse files whereas he provided a whole suite of skin files for G8 and G8.1. To my untrained eyes Bluejaunte's G9 diffuse does not appear to contain any kind of secret sauce but despite using the base skins for the rest his G9 characters still lights better than most PA. So:

1. Are diffuse files that difficult to make and what makes Bluejaunte's diffuse special?

2. If not, then why are there still such a quality difference between PA in G9? If someone like Bluejaunte felt that G9 base skins are good enough then others should as well, and we can finally get some consistency mixing PA characters in a scene.

First, Bluejaunte skins, at least in the G8 era were constantly referred to on the Daz and f95zone forums as among the best. Even on this thread people other than me have included Bluejaunte. By singling me out you obviously have only one opinion and that is just your own.

Second, your entire post was just a subjective look-at-me post without any objective refute. If you don't like Bluejaunte's characters that's fine but at least differentiate the sculpt and skins.

So someone else please answer my questions because I've got nothing from this reply.

List a couole G8s and G9s skins you feel are superior to all others.

Dialing different characters is easy once you find a few good textures. I can not recall many times ive used a full character morph.

Underbelly 8 is one of my all-round favorite male characters.

The funny thing is that a few years ago I started a similar topic about g8 skin:

After a long and painful search for a good skin for the G8, I settled on these:
1) Millawa 8 - the best dark skin, and with the lightening option, it's just the best
2) Bridget 8 - second best
3) I won't single out the third place specifically, but iSourceTextures, Daz original and others have some good skins.
Things are a little better with G8.1 in general. And again, there are several skins better than Bluejaunte's skins.
Speaking of g9, choosing good skins has stopped being a problem - half of them are just a cut above 95% of g8 skins. I decided to upgrade to g9 when I saw Colm Jackson's character, who looked awesome out of the box.

This is a quick 2% render in my laptop. For what I do. Mostly distance body shots at what today most people would consider low resolution. I see little difference that would greatly matter

2 blue on the left/center and Bridget on the right. I was mistaken also in that I was thinking Babina not Bridget.

I won't tell you about all the skins, since I didn't use the G8.1 for long. But among the interesting ones, I can name DJ Thea HD, HID Avi, HID Julia, HID Nia and Tris HD.
Victoria 8.1 is not my favorite skin, but technically it beats bluejaunte by all accounts.
In addition, quite a few more good skins appeared after I switched to G9.
