sounds like RH is either "cleaning up shop" in preparation of a sale (basically we see these kinds of purges prior to an IPO or an acquisition), or that RH changed their EULA/ToS and no longer allowing the sale of gamerips and non-original content (no more figures/clothing of major IPs)

What does CBDC has to do with Renderhub? US had already killed CBDC because it effectively eliminates any legitimate business usage pretense for crypto and the negative impact on VISA/Mastercard/Paypal profits. Trump family is now rolling in crypto and Trump is threatening any country looking to issue CBDC. EU was working on CBDC until pressure from US and their own banking industry killed it. China is the only major economy rolling out CBDC but still far from ubiquitous. India is likely to follow but they are years away from ready.
CBDC is bad. It opens up a path of total government control of what can and can't be purchased and who is buying what. As long as it stays as just another form of payment, it's OK. But no one is naive enough to believe that it won't be used for control once it's implemented. Figures that the CCP would be the first to roll it out.

this just seems like the IP owners had enough of people selling figures based on their properties on RH. they've most likely told to stop, but kept allowing it and so the IP owners musta threatened RH with a lawsuit if they don't take down all gamerips/wraps of major IPs
Like music, movies, porn and software, the folks that create and own the originals will never be able to stop it. Already some vendors are selling through small personal sites or using payment methods like Ko-Fi to sell through DA, Discord and probably other venues.
