regarding your 'buy' in quotes, I realize there are 5-finger discounts here, but in the end the people that shell out cash for models, hair, clothing, etc will discover AI is cheap, if not free, and that will affect Daz's bottom line. and imagine how much it would cost to buy all the models, props, clothes, building models, hair styles, tattoos, etc with Daz.I think Daz is cooked.

(Metadata 5 86)I tried the two above, and it's been the first time I've been able to get any version 8 not to get stuck on the 'smart content screen. However I cannot get any character or prop (template or custom).Everything has what looks like a green cloud symbol (?) in the top right corner and if I click on it, it justs wants to go onto the internet (which I disconnected).
I suspect my problem are the last few instructions.

The install of iClone8 created 'Reallusion Custom' and 'Reallusion Template', in the folder c:\users\public\public documents\reallusion\ Is this what is refered to as the 'Default folder'??
I tried putting some props from an older iClone7 copy and the do show up in the content manager when I manually copy them to :\users\public\public documents\reallusion\Reallusion Template\
Other than that it doesn't seem like there is ANY free working content. I saw you can get some freebie content, but that of course would require an internet connection 🙁
Seems people are missing the elephant in the room. AI can generate images and video very well now, and it is improving DAILY.
For iclone 8.5 shown in tammebelg's Dec 5th post, has anyone tried it. I think I have download 3 or 4 different versions of iClone (8.1, 8.2, 8.4, etc) and while they generally work, the main content pane is STUCK with a message asking you connect to the internet to synchronize your content.
I've tried 3 or 4 different versions, as well as help from chatgpt, and I found NO solution. Frustrating.
