Thanks! I mean, like I said, I just entered the competition for fun! If I had actually wanted to compete, I would have put one of my life drawings turned renders of my wife.
Don't worry, I made it up to her by giving her the mother of all neck and back rubs afterwards!
Thank you! And the woman's eyes was actually an error that I didn't catch until I got about 1/4 of the way through rendering. When I was fine tuning her body, and scaling her head, I completely forgot to scale down the textures for her pupils and irises! But I think it works, since they're supposed to be gazing lovingly at each other, anyway.
Here's some pontless trivia, by the way! These models are modified versions of G3M Aiden for Michael 7, and G3F Mika 7. Skin Maker 3 was used to give Mika a custom skin mat. This was so that I could match her skin tone to my wife's, who is my source of artistic inspiration. This render is basicaly my wife and I in 3D!
Sorry, make that an A500. The Amiga 500 and the Amiga 1200 look very similar, in terms of the computer's case.
I know a Commodore Amiga A1200 when I see one, and I see one in Baf-McNab's entry. Classic computer! Shame Commodore had no idea what to do with the Amiga line.
Well, now that I've seen it, I think it's time to dust off my Sega Genesis, plug it into a CRT TV, and play me some Mortal Kombat. With the blood cheat code enabled, of course.

Hey, it's my pleasure! I don't expect to win, especially when I compare An Elf in Evereska to some of the others, but I'm just doing this for fun!
As a side note, I modified the character model to closely resemble my wife, who she's based on.
I've always been the creative type. I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, painting through multiple media since my sophomore year in high school, and studied game design in college. I guess it helped that I grew up in an artistic household; my Dad's a well known local musician, and my Mom had her own graphic design company. They both encouraged me to keep practicing. I also grew up around computers, and I don't remember a time without having one in the house.
It was downright inevitable that I made the jump to 3D CGI. It allowed me to create in ways that I've only been able to imagine until now! I still consider myself an amateur, since I only discovered DAZ Studio around November of last year, but the progress I've made has been astronomical!
The image I present is my greatest achievement so far. It took 8 hours to render, since my rig is rather old, but I'm still damn proud of it!
I call it "An Elf in Evereska," after my love of the Dungeons & Dragons world of the Forgotten Realms.
