The dress in 2nd and 3rd picture is this one:
dForce Golden Order Outfit for Genesis 9
and the texture set: dForce Golden Order Outfit Texture Add-OnJune 11, 2026 at 8:57 PM #2177329One thing I am curious about is how you implement this, mainly what would you save as bookmark? Is it product page link from request forum? If so, then when the product is filled, the page disappears so the bookmark becomes invalid. And saving product name/store links doesn't seem in the scope of Zone's functionality. I am not sure how it was before but with new request system doesn't seem too clear to me.
June 10, 2026 at 4:00 AM #2177212RKS models are probably one of the the best lookalike models I have ever seen, but has anyone tried them? Do they remain recognizable under different lights/angles/hairs?
May 29, 2026 at 12:01 AM #2176096@poepogue, There is a tan map shared in that dropbox link in DAZ forum:

As for character, this thread might help: https://zonegfx.com/forums/topic/help-identifying-linday-characters/
April 16, 2026 at 8:36 PM #2172257@chonakz — From my experience, it’s still not worth it. Around 99% of scripts don’t work unless the product explicitly says they do (for example, Look at Me III works in v2026, but most others don’t).
That means you end up keeping both DAZ versions installed and constantly switching between them—using v4 for most tasks and v2026 just for rendering.
It becomes especially frustrating when you’re experimenting with something new. Just last week I tried a product from Meipe, and the amount of back-and-forth needed to preview different changes was so tedious that I eventually gave up.
April 12, 2026 at 1:30 AM #2171773@supimps, not sure about the issue you are facing, but mine was solved with enabling both smoothing and interactive update on. They are disabled by default which was causing the issue (thanks @conkec1993 for the help).
April 9, 2026 at 8:42 PM #2171498I changed the target, even removed mesh smoothing altogether, but it's still there. Did you face the similar issue and changing target solve it?
April 8, 2026 at 8:43 PM #2171368@d0gg0d, I am always hesitant sharing explicit content as the term "modest" is different for different people.
@1138adrianmartinez, I tried that but that didn't help. I even tried these: increase render subD, disable smothering, remove any hidden parameters etc. Here are 2 picture, 1st one with breastacular while 2nd one without. If you compare them, you can see what I am talking about. I know they are subtle, but they become more noticeable with full body shot under different lighting.
WARNING: EXPLICIT CONTENT (boobies)
with breastacular: https://mega.nz/file/PDYCzKjb#vGP4sxQkMzc43zIXKIS2aBYVfVoNEz_Q85csvvi3nBo
without breastacular: https://mega.nz/file/vGhCQDaK#4MMwrNh6nDZV5fsxP6d4uNZxVwQ-hh2bJNFthdASqzEApril 5, 2026 at 6:56 PM #2170957@creepuk I just noticed those in the requests and was about to say the same thing. It’s not just misleading—it deliberately deceptive. Take Quinnie Azkadina, for example: the images are clearly AI-generated, not DAZ, yet that’s never disclosed anywhere or give any DAZ renderd promo. It seems aimed to scam people who aren’t familiar with what DAZ can actually do. And you can check their other items too-low quality garbage created with Facegen.
As for RenderHub, you already know exactly how they operate—their “policy” practically enables scams and deception, and the only time they bother to act like they care is when they’ve been exposed.
What’s even more concerning is that Renderosity seems to be heading down the same path. I recently came across two products by hameleon using AI-generated promo images, which completely defeats the purpose—you have no idea what the product will actually look like in DAZ. Maybe one or two AI images could be excused, but when every single promo is AI-generated, it crosses the line from misleading into outright deception. And now they’re even adding AI-generated videos into the mix, which takes the whole thing to another level of scam altogether.
Disclaimer: this rant was generated with the help of AI.
March 28, 2026 at 3:58 PM #2169257@russiansniper, It's not the render time but the memory usage difference that I find confusing. As I mentioned in my previous post, the speed should be same if they fits in the VRAM. But the 4k and 2k texture with everything else identical using almost same VRAM doesn't make sense to me.
March 28, 2026 at 1:57 AM #2169177@d0gg0d If you are talking about medium and high threshold texture compression, I am testing them currently. The defaults are 512 and 1024 respectively which might be too low for these testing.
Edit: increasing these values to 5000 make no difference in VRAM usage. I suppose they only kick in when the texture doesn't fit in VRAM which isn't my case.
March 28, 2026 at 1:42 AM #2169174So, here are some extra test, not sure how RAM comes into this unless it's falling into CPU rendering. Idle state RAM = 14 GB
4K camera resolution + 4K texture + SubD 5 = 5.5 GB VRAM
4K camera resolution + 2K texture + SubD 5 = 5.1 GB VRAM
4K camera resolution + 4K texture + SubD 3 = 4.1 GB VRAM + 16.8 GB RAM
4K camera resolution + 2K texture + SubD 3 = 3.9 GB VRAM + 16.7 GB RAMWhen you do your testing, can you just test on 1 single char (G8F preferably, G9 has higher mesh and maybe some other issues), no cloth, hair or anything just HD morph and 4K/2K textures and same camera resolution. I am curious to know if it's a DAZstudio issue or special to my devices.
March 28, 2026 at 12:28 AM #2169167No it's fine. You said some really good points. I am just confused whether I am missing something obvious.
