LOL that's my normal state these days. I'm fine but smoking too much and moved on to writing. I miss you guys but I needed to do something new. I'm not pissing in your pockets - I really do miss being here and all the friend I've made. BTW, what's so good about reality?Whatever. Good suggestions Shawn, though I've heard that adding emissive to solid objects slows render times quite a bit. The good thing about ghost lights is that they're only one poly thick to minimize this. But I guess a privative torus is so low poly (I think around 300 polys) it may not make much of a difference anyway.
Very good points Keab, but I reckon possessions end up owning you, rather than the other way round. Hence all the worry and fretting about the possibility losing your stuff. I bought my first new car about 20 years ago, and boy did I love that car (Nissan SSS).
A few weeks later on a wet day I didn't put the handbrake on properly at my unit, and the car went sailing down the driveway, through the roller doors and smashed into a brick wall, a write-off. I saw it as a omen not to become attached to material things.
I've also moved house about six times in the past ten years and pretty much chucked away most of my possessions. My rule now is to live light, own as little as possible and only worry about important things, like friends and family.Anyone would think you're storing the nuclear target launch codes GOF:)
I think people should be asking themselves what of this bloated 14TB do I actually use, and when did I last use it. If the answer is 2 years ago or more, just ditch it. You're never likely to use it again.

Conversion for DS use is quite easy, with a few tweaks like specularity and saturation, and converting the surface/s to DS shader.
It's certainly is a big RAM saver compared to using DS figures for your background people.Summer again and the roaches are back.

Yeh it's funny how your interests change over time Adam. I was totally into Poser/DS for years. Now I don't even have it installed on my main machine.
Then after that I got into AI image generation for about 18 months. Now I'm absorbed with making audio books with AudioBook Maker (AI voice cloning).
Tomorrow it will be something else, if I don't die first.
