Yeh it's funny how your interests change over time Adam. I was totally into Poser/DS for years. Now I don't even have it installed on my main machine.
Then after that I got into AI image generation for about 18 months. Now I'm absorbed with making audio books with AudioBook Maker (AI voice cloning).
Tomorrow it will be something else, if I don't die first.It is important to keep the mind active & engaged as you age.
Mental health is just as important as the physical.
I'm learning drums.

When I hit 60 and was forced to retire (government policy for the job), my family dragged me to university saying that I was the only one without a degree. I eventually earned a BSc in anthropology. I also went nuts on my bicycles. It's been an absolute hoot but I keep wishing that I could go back to work so that I have more free time. All my retired friends say the same thing, they're busier now than when they where working.
Regarding getting 'Thank You" posts for filling a request, I'd rather do without. I assume everyone who puts up points for a request is going to appreciate it when I fill it and I can do without 30 "thanks" IMs tbh.
It's the random acts of kindness where people don't say "thanks" (or even acknowledge them) that tend to make me less likely to do things like that again. These people end up being ignored. Heck, since the new system, I've seen folks here manually fill requests just so one or two people don't get the item due to previous transgressions. Karma eventually works itself out.
It is a lot better to receive an individual message of thanks than to send messages to 30 + people who had nothing to do with fulfilling the request by replying to the link notification!
Based on my own experience 100 filled requests over 7 months generated 41 thank you messages you have to fill loads of requests to get 30 thank yous.!
No, what I was meaning was, those who insist on replying to the one fulfillment notification & end up thanking all the members who entered a bounty on the item! This despite bold notification not to do that. :0/
Cant remember but I and others replied to the first few auto fills. It resulted in my Inbox having 30 thank yous. It also happens when a fill goes wrong and 50 replies trying to sort it out all end up in the you got messages.
This is a primary reason I stopped replying to fills. When I use to fill manually it was more tedious but also more social. While this system is easier its also more automated and almost like thanking a car wash for cleaning your car.
