Most of you know I have an LGBT son who does DS stuff too, and he was looking forward to G9 Male Base -- we looked together inside the product and found this - and he said "Mom! Even that is too GAY for me!!!"

Yes, my heart sank when they stated in the livestream that it was an androgenous mesh, instead of bespoke male & female versions.

🙁I am not fond of new generations mainly because old items don't work well. Just wondering what the point of 8.1 was. Now generation 9, it would be better if they moved towards making daz work with any gpu instead of being exclusively nvidia. I don't see any difference between 8,8.1 and 9, then again i am an amatuer when it comes to daz
Too early to judge at the moment. I was able to put some G8 clothes and hair on the Genesis 9 model.
I have tested it a bit.
Heels are problematic, Geoshells are no-no (much, much different materials zones), but the rest (accessories, hair, clothes, flat shoes) work well.
Poses from G8 do not work at all (from what I saw). But maybe I am just not seeing the "proper transforms" yet.
In terms or realism, though, V9 is WOW. I'll post some renders later on.
