the M4/K4 stuff might be missing their Metadata and won't show up. If EXEs were used, look for the Studio Companion Files(CF) in the file name or Metadata installer. Both base characters are available with DIM files from Daz
That issue is your Browser running out of memory for the on-the-fly decryption, just switch to the desktop app, the issue disappears
You can import up to Genesis 1 & 2 into Poser, plus Poser has it's own native base characters, and tons of 3rd party base characters(most are Daz)
Quite a few folks might be interested in your stash, I would love copies, but I lack the drive space. I have a 3TB stash of Generation 3, 4 & Genesis 1 & 2 stuff, wish I had the money for another huge drive.
Daz is notoriously slow on new tech integration due to a number of factors.
1)Studio is Free
2)It would be a low-budget/low-priority upgrade unless ALL other older nVidia GPUs suddenly died at once.
3) Daz's software enginerds are tied up on a lot of other beta and alpha upgrades/plugins/UI tweaks/etcetera that have been in the pipeline since Studio 3.1 closed and Studio 4.0.0 dropped
4)IF Daz wasn't cheap and lazy, they would have licensed VRay like the majority of other big 3D programs use, VRay will support the new 20Series from nVidia. One would think that since Studio supports .3ds format from Autodesk's 3DS Max, they would want to take advantage of the already optimized VRay textures, but Daz will be Daz.........Bill Clinton GAVE Silicon Valley to the People's Republic of China back in the 90s with that NAFTA disaster. Then Obama killed ALL mining in the US, sealing China as the SOLE producer of Rare Earth metals. The Chinese have been rigging the chip(including RAM) market for almost a decade.
According to Moore's Law, we should be 5 tech generations ahead of where we currently are, plus the prices should be low enough for a starving Ethiopian to be able to afford the tech.
As to the 20Series GPUs, Daz won't add support for them for at least 2-3 years, Autodesk and the other paid 3D apps will add support within 6 months of full commercial rollout of all 20Series GPUs.
AS as I like to shorten them to have been at it a long time. They are a French 3D Art collective, started out as Awful Soul. Other names include Aery Soul, As Shanim and Aeon Soul. The group's size constantly changes, from 3 to as many as 7 members, but mainly in the 3 to 5 person range.
@para: You don't have to scribble/splatter/graffiti all over a texture to mark it, you just need to go into it's properties and add a note to it, much sneakier that way.
You do realize that by using Autofit you can use the generation 4 stuff on genesis 1 and higher, don't you?
