I have the solution.
Now all we have to do is find someone to crack Daz Central...
🙂May 21, 2020 at 3:40 PM #1603593Thanks for the video!
Well, if anyone tested it with pirated packages, let us know, just as a curiosity, if it works no problem! 🙂
And yes, I think nobody could ever prohibit you from having two different accounts for yourself. But they could get suspicious anyway.
May 21, 2020 at 3:51 PM #1603594It works with pirated stuff just like DIM.
May 21, 2020 at 4:38 PM #1603603God, Daz3D is so pathetic. Studio is such a shit software and they do nothing to update it from the early 90s. Nope. They keep the same, broken shit IK they claim works properly. They brute force iRay, rather than make a proper plugin. How long until the Genesis 9 cash cow arrives? They exploit their developers and when people try to make items for the store, they're absolutely draconian in what you can do and can't do. Fuck Daz3d. They're as bad as Valve.
May 22, 2020 at 12:32 AM #1603671I know the guy that cracked the Connect encryption
May 22, 2020 at 6:14 AM #1603689Thank you for the info Kre@tionz!
May 22, 2020 at 6:37 AM #1603692I would rather they fix their sh!tty program, start supporting amd cards, and let developers use their damn content as they wish to use it.
I swear a program will come that will be like daz but easier to use, faster in updates, and doesent bother its artists. And it will not have a crap folder structure like daz does ffs
May 22, 2020 at 7:36 AM #1603695IMO Poser is a hell of a lot worse & they are still trying to sell that as a viable alterrnative? :0/
May 22, 2020 at 12:17 PM #1603729@kinkygr, DAZ was developed by mormons. I think it's still run by mormons. They are strict about what can officially be done with the product and what they'll allow to be posted on their site about what other people are doing with their product.
@ethiopia, Rendo bought poser to corner the content market. They don't care about the app. They see DAZ making money with a free app by selling copious amounts of content. I wish poser would take a good swipe at Studio. Competition would make Studio better. It's falling woefully behind other 3D apps imo (other than poser, which is still stuck in 2005). /opinionMay 22, 2020 at 1:41 PM #1603753"
Mac
64-BitCurrently does not support Mac"
So its not even a Forced installaiton.
Also you can grab it free fromyourself.
Tbh. I didnt knowed it until you posted it. And.. The only new content item I want is Man Fridays Turbo Content, IF he manage finally to enable it for the FULL content Lib, and not only Smart Content.
Then I will indeed buy it self (I wanna buy all Man Friday products, for getting updates and supporting his work).May 22, 2020 at 6:55 PM #1603814@LivingPixels I agree, but there are many professional users that use Daz.
Of course, not professional about 3D modeling etc., but about storytelling (videogames, comics, books etc.). They don't care about 3D modeling, and they're much better spending a few bucks on an already made asset than doing it all from the ground.
I think that kind of professional users makes a huge part of Daz income. There's a limit to what amateurs will spend.Daz Studio is going to implement Filament, an open-source real-time rendering engine.
Iray is developed by Nvidia. It doesn't bother me that we have to purchase Nvidia GPUs (at the end of the day, the quality/price ratio is very similar), but it would be cool if it could use system RAM better instead of VRAM, like Blender does.I don't understand why Poser isn't dead already. And the Renderosity purchase surprised me, but I'm not an expert, so they do what they think it's best for them.
If Daz company looks this good after so many years, it means that their model business is working, so, if anyone doesn't like them, he/she's free to use whatever other software!
