@ladyburger
I toyed with the idea of getting that B-29 Model, but I don't do many aircraft renders, @robf4g210 is the aircraft man, he's probably forgotten more about them then I ever knew. few models i have are F-4 and F-14...tend to stick with my favorites.March 22, 2018 at 8:13 AM #541488See below
March 22, 2018 at 12:30 PM #541755Boris Vallejo Tribute

After scrapping my originally intended, Star Wars influenced scene, for the 20th time, I was too frustrated to go to attempt #21, so, I decided to look on the "Legend" theme from a different angle, and, thought I'd pay homage to a real Legend, the great Boris Vallejo, and the "Vampire Kiss" theme.
Boris Vallejo, as well as Frank Frazzeta, are legends in their own rights, giving birth to art archetypes that modern fantasy art is building upon.March 24, 2018 at 8:37 AM #543972Billy The Kid – Legendary Outlaw
William H. Bonney, born in 1859, was the legendary Western outlaw known as “Billy the Kid”. Billy reputedly killed 27 people in the American West. Billy the Kid was dead at age 21, shot by Lincoln Sheriff Pat Garrett, a man Billy had previously befriended before Garrett became a lawman.March 24, 2018 at 10:56 AM #544111I AM A LEGEND !

Title: Never Forgotten
The Vietnam Veterans Memorial is a 2-acre (8,000 m²) U.S. national memorial in Washington D.C. It honors service members of the U.S. armed forces who fought in the Vietnam War, service members who died in service in Vietnam/South East Asia, and those service members who were unaccounted for (missing in action, MIA) during the war.
Its construction and related issues have been the source of controversies, some of which have resulted in additions to the memorial complex. The memorial currently consists of three separate parts: the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, completed first and the best-known part of the memorial, the Three Servicemen Memorial, and the Vietnam Women's Memorial.
The wall originally listed 57,939 names when it was dedicated in 1982, but other names have since been added and as of May 2017 there are 58,318 names.

March 25, 2018 at 1:38 PM #545490Anonymous judging? I really don't mind as long as the remarks are able to be monitored, and limited to the scope of the contest. And if it's anonymous, then there should be reason for it being anonymous, as in detailing your reason for your scoring.
March 26, 2018 at 7:25 PM #546913I dunno, I kinda like the idea of a specific item. And with the thanks for Entering points, there is no pain to it. Reminds me of art class at UMCP, either a method or an item would always be in the task. I would love to see one of these again.
March 26, 2018 at 8:01 PM #546947I think its not as much the points as installing an item you may never use again. With a little effort its easy to delete or if small enough just overlook. If an item were required, A free link would be nice. Or just use an item thats already freeby on another site.
March 26, 2018 at 8:51 PM #546981I like the Jason/Rob 1-10 for Technical and Creative for every entry, system.
Everyone gets something out of it.
March 26, 2018 at 9:58 PM #547028Rating people what my opinion is doesnt always go over well.
Its my opinion that a lot of scoring was done to save feelings rather than give an honest assessment.
Scoring everything 7 or better while scoring a winner 9 is 2 points difference rather than 5 or 6 points.
Id rather they just formulate both score totals in their head, add to that their opinion of what they enjoy and pick a top 3. Take every submission and multiply it by every voter is a lot of work on the host.
Notice that the original idea wasnt hosted by the idea maker.
March 26, 2018 at 10:19 PM #547046Hey D0G...why would you care if your opinions dont go over well. Would you rather try to please everyone by being polite and untruthful, or be honest and upset some?.
The political voting system relies heavily on emotional persuasion embodied in deceit, Would be a crime punishable by hanging if brought to the Arts.
March 27, 2018 at 4:20 AM #547342I like to be honest. I care enough to try and use some tack rather than being rude.
For instance. I tell my wife I do not like the way the dress looks that she wants to buy. Rather than saying it looks like a dog ate some rags and crapped it out.
Same with most forums and people. I will every so often be blunt and/or an ass about things but, I try to respect people as much as my inner A-hole will allow.
It make little sense to start arguments unless Im just bored and want to troll another A-hole. I do not believe anything will effect my life online to any great extent but, It is nice to have some people that agree with me, like the same things, ect... Dont you think?
March 27, 2018 at 6:41 AM #547418If you have just one library, you might want to try making a few libraries. I have one for each contest, if i don't like the content, i just delete that library and it's folders. Though i'm a bit of a hoarder.
I also have a library for staging items. I'll install the items there first, if i like them, I'll move them over to my main library. Usually my staging and temp libraries are on spinning disks, while my prime library is on a S0lid State.
