Ditto. Just tried on both sites and they worked as expected.
October 10, 2026 at 12:33 PM #2191297Unless something has changed, monkseye is dealing with issues and hasn't been active in a long time. I think @warrant63 deals with postings issues and eelgoo deals with forum issues. Or it might be the other way around, I don't remember.
October 9, 2026 at 12:50 PM #2191178So true @inversekinematics. You get an asset, install it and load it into the scene and then you get a bunch of missing texture errors, yet the figure loads just as it should. And you're sitting there, asking why textures from some unknown figure you've never owned is popping up loading errors.
October 8, 2026 at 4:30 PM #2191097@jabaduhut I don't know if it was your intent, but your post made me less likely to buy something from this guy. Granted, I wasn't going to anyway at that price. But I do like Jennifer Connelly and if his stuff was studio quality work, I might be tempted. I have Thwaites' celebrity series model of her and I don't even use it because it's like a cartoon version when using IRAY. But once you said "painted" rather than sculpted, that's a huge red flag.
October 8, 2026 at 12:20 PM #2191081All I see on his site are single images of a head. And it seems they are morphs based on what I can discern. But the lack of information makes it hard to figure out how to buy, what the underlying mesh looks like, or even what exactly it is that one would be buying. You have to contact the creator via DM just to figure out what it is exactly that you're getting? That seems to be kinda stupid. Or maybe I'm missing something on deviant (wouldn't be the first time).
October 7, 2026 at 5:01 PM #2190936At this point, I'm assuming scemaduro is RHA. It's the only rational explanation for his overly emotional posts.
October 7, 2026 at 3:37 PM #2190926You're one angry little fella. Perhaps you haven't noticed, but almost no one here buys squat. And for those noble few who do buy stuff, they get paid back in other assets many times over. So who's really getting ripped off here? Certainly not us dumb DAZ users.
October 7, 2026 at 12:25 PM #2190901Meh, no better than RKS imo. And his price point is just silly. I can't imagine anyone paying that much for a commercially available 3d figure. Custom figure? maybe. Even at half off, they'd still be way too much money for what you'd get.
October 2, 2026 at 12:22 PM #2190337Well said 3demon
September 30, 2026 at 5:07 PM #2190101Like eelgoo said - it's those kind of people. They can't help it.
September 29, 2026 at 3:00 PM #2189977I just checked the prices of a new 4090 as I was thinking of upgrading my second PC (current 4070). $4000!!! Insane. And a 5090 is closing in on $7000. That is even more insane. My workhorse PC has a 4090 and it renders just about everything I've thrown at it in a few minutes (at 3 quality and 99% convergence) but my 4070 can do them in about 4x the render time, so I'm sticking with that until things stop being insane. Unfortunately, upgrading GPUs right now is not an option for most folks.
September 29, 2026 at 11:53 AM #2189951Looks like you fixed the huge stairs thing going on in the reference image. Looking good so far.
September 25, 2026 at 7:40 PM #2189391Got it. Needs internet connection for now. Maybe in the future, the tool can do the optimization locally.
September 25, 2026 at 11:57 AM #2189353How can you have a version of a tool that's entire purpose is to push a function, in this case rendering, into the cloud? It's very basis is you have to be online. What am I missing here?
September 25, 2026 at 11:51 AM #2189352What's the purpose of this? From what I can determine, this appears to be a posing app for DAZ figures in the obj format. DS does a decent job with that already. If there are plans to expand this to things other than figures (e.g. clothing) and to add dynamic "posing" like MD does (i.e. draping), that could be a game changer. dForce was sold as DAZ's solution to MD's draping engine, but the lack of any control or an interactive workflow makes it really hit or miss and it's way too resource intensive (it is a DAZ product after all). I don't really do discord but if their discord server has more information on this product (their RH page and github don't, at least that I could find), I'd be willing to take a look.
