December 16, 2021 at 11:22 AM #1758320I did DL 4.16 daz recently and tried to update starter essentials, then did a search on my entire pc (all drives search for the PBR textures) and got nothing. I don't know why that is but it's happening.
Not sure what to do next but stick to gen 8 at this rateNovember 28, 2021 at 2:42 PM #1752767Thank you so much for taking the time to pass the info, I will look through my C drive and see if they're hiding there ! Appreciate your help x
November 27, 2021 at 9:38 PM #1752544I understand, thanks for your reply and happy rendering 🙂
November 27, 2021 at 9:37 PM #1752543Hiya, my library is huge so I have it on it's own drive (not the C Drive), if you do remember some of the steps, I would really appreciate it. I have the latest version of Daz and I downloaded all the updated essentials content etc and still no joy. My figures load with textures but I get a message to say the PBR ones are missing
November 27, 2021 at 2:22 PM #1752443Hiya, I have the exact same problem as you and I have tried redownloading all the files mentioned direct from Daz but I still get no PBR skins available. Is there any chance you would share the files from your friend please?
June 7, 2018 at 7:43 AM #632209OK, thank you x I have decided to learn Sketch up so I can make most of the buildings with that eventually. Also, the Unity store has some pretty decent free assets. I think I'll stick with that to simplify things
June 5, 2018 at 7:31 AM #629826Evil Monkey - Thanks , I'll check it out. Maybe I can make texture maps for the OBJ files if they aren't compatible with Unity
June 4, 2018 at 7:08 PM #629321oops double post
June 4, 2018 at 7:08 PM #629320Thank you, I am grateful to be able to try out the stuff here to see what works well. It's pretty expensive to buy a load of stuff that may never get looked at or implemented. But definitely will be purchasing the Unity Licences along with any asset licences that we put in to a finished game. I'm hoping we can do a lot of it ourselves. I'm a 2d artist mainly and have always wanted to try 3dmodels. I'll see how it goes. It's for a fun project first but who knows?
June 4, 2018 at 7:05 PM #629316Thank you, yeah I thought I would try the models mentioned from here and see if they are any good for what I want. If so, then I'll be buying them and the licences. I also would like to get a feel for how to put one together myself from scratch
