Hello.
I recently got interested in the Genesis 8.1 Female/Victoria 8.1, but can’t load it into daz3d.
Genesis 8 Female loads ok, Victoria 8 loads ok, Victoria 8 HD load ok, but victoria 8.1 with Victoria 8.1 HD obviously doesn’t load at all (neither Genesis 8.1 Male/Michael 8.1).
It gives a bunch of errors and a model made out of gray blocks. (here i found this same problem in this thread, third message, check it out https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/466871/victoria-8-1 ) (to the end of that thread, i didn’t find a positive solution for me, so maybe ZoneGFX has those needed files somewhere, like Genesis 8.1 Starter Essentials, cause i feel that's what it is missing.
I checked out the site but there are no Genesis 8.1 Starter Essentials, except for the older ones that i already have) I use Daz3D 4.15.0.30 Pro 64bit, and have the G1,2,3,8 for M&F + dForce Essential Starters from this site, also have Victoria 8.1 and Victoria 8.1 HD from other site.
Hope someone has a solution and can help.Post your log file but it seems like you're missing assets. Where did you get this "also have Victoria 8.1 and Victoria 8.1 HD from other site" from other site? It could have corrupted files. Can you download a copy from zonegfx and test it out?
I see that ZoneGFX doesn't have the Victoria 8.1 standalone, but instead it has Victoria 8.1 University Bundle, way larger package, with almost nothing i need, except Victoria 8.1 itself.
I will download it and see if i can load it, and to answer the question to where i got the Victoria 8.1, it is renderstate site.The starter essentials come for free with daz studio and the updated version for g8.1 requires daz Studio 4.15. Is it the DS version that you are running and did you update your starter essentials?

Where i use daz3d, i don't have internet, i use it totally offline, no means of updating, this is why i asked for help, i need those 8.1 essentials, without them, i can't use anything that stands for 8.1.
Right now i am near wifi and download the thing Mr sheep asked, it can take more that 2 hours, will replay tomorrow.Hello, i downloaded yesterday's model "Victoria 8.1 College Life" which included the same Victoria 8.1 Model as i had from the other site, with the same exact size to the bit.
Loaded it into DAZ3D and it has given the same errors as like the one from the version of "Victoria 8.1" i already tried.

runtime/textures/daz/characters/genesis8_1/femalebase/g8_1mouth_nm_1006.tifI see the Esential Bundle for G1,G2,G3,G8 and dForce are from 2019, a bit old, can't anybody update them to a more recent version, it would be nice if somebody would get those dependencies Updated.
It is useless to try to use any g8.1 char if you do not have the starter essentials installed with the updated base for g8.1 chars.
The simpler is that you log to daz3D, go account>content library, search for "starter essentials", click on genesis 8 starter essentials.
There are several files to download. Do a manual download all those that are not templates and install them.
What is the different when you download the Starter Essentials from here or from daz???
You say you have no internet where you use daz..You do not need internet to install the stuff. Just use the DIM and save the file on the computer you are using now.(with internet).
Go to daz LOG IN...... If you have no account, MAKE ONE.
0) Get the DIM
1) Get DS 4.15 (important)
2) Get the "Starter Essentials for G8M/G8"F
3) Also very important Get the "DefaultResourcesforDAZStudio415", because it has that "PBR" skin shader in it that a lot of G8.1 figures are using."Also make sure your NVIDIA Drivers are up to date.
If you have no internet you can't use the install manager.
Victoria 8.1 is a character that needs the Genesis 8.1 base for it to work, hence the gray cubes which indicates the G8.1 geometry is missing.
I think the OP is asking for someone to upload the new Genesis 8/8.1 Starter Essential files. But you can't use G8.1 without installing a recent version of DS first.
You can DL DS 4.15 from here.
As far as I know the updated starter essentials are not on the blog.... believe me i can use Daz Install Manager when i'm offline, installing the models downloaded from a pirate site or the other, it really doesn't matter anymore, if it can't be done offline then to hell with it, i can still play with older genesis models., this is not like my life depends on it.
"Lucafeelgood" there is no difference between the one found on resder-state and the one found here, and i didn't downloaded anything from daz, cause it would mean for me to run a 20 km to the city with the PC on my bike (I am using my phone)...
"Frank21" i don't think Daz3D 4.15.0.30 Pro is older that what you say "DS 4.15", the only thing is that mine comes completely empty.
You people just read the first post, i already mentioned what DAZ version i have and what is the problem, the only thing that i don't have is the essential 8.1, i was hopping someone would upload it just like the older genesis essentials, that's all, why do we go in circles.

your problem is the same as what I had, I had Daz3d 4.15 before genesis 8.1 with installing the victoria 8.1 I encountered this problem, in forums general chat the topic "GENESIS 8.1 – Problems? Basic Advice." had helped me a lot with updating my G8 essential, starter pack I solved the problem.Hello all, my problem was solved, some friend send me the essentials i needed, thanks all for the replays.
Hiya, I have the exact same problem as you and I have tried redownloading all the files mentioned direct from Daz but I still get no PBR skins available. Is there any chance you would share the files from your friend please?
I had the problem with the PBR skins... I forget exactly what the problem was - but is your library in the default path (C:) or did you assign it to a different drive/path?
It took me a day of researching forums and digging around in my libraries and uninstalling and reinstalling - but I got it sorted out. If I could remember exactly how, I'd give you a walkthru. There is something more than just redownloading the files - though...
