The problem that we're often getting is that these posts are posted with a valid picture. Then you get the crusaders that come in and report the images to the various hosting sites who then remove the images and break them.
September 10, 2020 at 3:00 PM #1625955@bobdawg most welcome 🙂 I learned a thing too. It was bugging me to the point where I had to figure it out. I love this site ^_^
September 9, 2020 at 1:24 PM #1625720I opened up a hair figure that has 1.0 1.0 1.0 in its surface tab and input the numbers you posted, it gave me:
Hue 336
Sat 35
Val 255
Red 255
Green 220
Blue 234Looks like a pale pink
Edit: HA! Finally figured it out. It's sRGB colour values. So using easyrgb.com, you would switch to sRGB 0-1.0, plug in the numbers and convert = there's the baby pink
September 9, 2020 at 9:36 AM #1625677can you clarify something for me? In the tutorial, do they give the 1.0 1.0 1.0 values or the RGB values?
One or the other, you can input them into daz studio then click on the resulting colour and it'll show you both the 1.0/1.0/1.0 values and the RGB values for that colour in the colour picker.
September 8, 2020 at 3:11 PM #1625502If you're talking about the 1.0 1.0 1.0 before you click on it, it's the same RGB system [R - G - B] but instead of 0 - 255 as they would normally be, they're displayed at 0 - 1 values where 0.0 0.0 0.0 is black, 1.0 1.0 1.0 is white, 1.0 0.0 0.0 is red, 0.0 1.0 0.0 is green and 0.0 0.0 1.0 is blue.
You can set the values then click on it and it'll bring up the picker with the 0 - 255 values for whatever you've set.
August 13, 2020 at 11:17 AM #1620663I live in WA and I'm so glad that McGowan has shut the borders for us. We're down to our last active case, no new cases in over two weeks and things are gradually reopening, we're almost at phase 5 though I'm still leary of heading back into the office cause I have some respiratory issues.
Watching Melbourne and having colleagues in our Melbourne office has been heartbreaking and disappointing, heartbreaking that it's gotten so much worse over there and disappointment in the anti-maskers for not thinking of the greater good.
I've been watching the local news a lot and I wish people weren't so selfish. But hey... I at least have the freedom to choose to put the health and safety of the wider community ahead of any concerns for restrictions upon myself and my family.
Stay home and stay safe <3
July 8, 2020 at 11:51 AM #1613273I rather like the dark grey, it provides a nice contrast with the girl. Though I also like the original dark purple background as well.
July 8, 2020 at 2:15 AM #1613175And it looks like the daily points have gone up to 50, which basically means one item per day for just logging in. The experiment continues! Thanks @hunter!
July 7, 2020 at 8:23 PM #1613121Please review the following threads:
"Seeders vs Leechers"
"Lesser Points?"These contain all the information you need.
July 7, 2020 at 11:04 AM #1613033Australia's been pretty lucky so far with overall less than 9000 cases. I'm in Western Australia and we've slammed the borders shut between us and the rest of the states. We're unlucky if we get 3 cases in a day, had a good run of 0 per day but there's been a few extra.
Over in Victoria, Melbourne specifically, they've just had 191 cases in one day and just announced a lockdown in the Melbourne area 🙁 Everyone's closing or closed their borders to Victoria and our international border's been shut for months.
July 7, 2020 at 10:38 AM #1613025@joelj I heard about the lockdown earlier from one of my colleagues who's there too.
All the best from the West, take care and hopefully you guys will get through this second wave.
July 6, 2020 at 6:45 PM #1612870The term "leechers" is more of a technical one than an insult. Seeders/leechers has been around for a long time.
I don't agree with the drop to 25 without other measures being put in place. One of my suggestions was to add points for forum posts but, as Hunter pointed out in a personal message, what if people spam the forum with bullshit, get enough points to buy stuff then their posts get deleted so they go into the negative.
This whole situation is a bit damned if you do and damned if you don't. I found out about Zone after being burned by Phuong and I'm glad I'm not over in that mess anymore (though I still get monthly "invoice emails" that I can't seem to switch off).
I enjoy the community here and I'd love to see something which encourages the community more, whether it's posting art, running contests, voting in contests, etc.
I haven't been too active lately, not for lack of funds but for lack of time. I've just finished my Bachelor of Science literally yesterday so I'm hoping to be around here more.
It's a shame to come back into the fold to so much negativity but I know that @hunter and the other admins here are fair and willing to try things out to see if they work and change them if they don't work. It's happened before with the 20 points to uploaders and 100 points site visit from the previous 50/50, and it'll happen again. Breathe and we'll be fine. Zone has been here for 4+ years, it'll be here for many more to come.
June 3, 2020 at 12:00 AM #1606171@hhawkes how are you reporting the dead link? I tend to find that if I report it using the little reporting function at the bottom of the page, Monk or Tomsk sends through the refund within a few hours.
Automating this functionality might be a bit difficult with the awful anonmize thing between us and the download link (I understand the necessity, I just find it annoying), since it would be harder for the system to click through and there would be other ways of doing it to just scan the raw link but that would defeat the purpose of anonmize and would also depend on the text on the other end of the link always being worded in a similar way to be able to compare it to known versions of 404.
Maybe @monk or @tomsk can shed some light?
November 13, 2019 at 12:42 PM #1326026If it's non-payment of points and the agreement is here on the forum, simply notify one of the admins and they'll sort it.
February 26, 2019 at 10:26 PM #976468Good to see you back @tomsk 🙂 You were dearly missed and now you're here! *throws confetti and cats everywhere in joy*
