@gladson1976 While I suspect it was the intent for people to post in the forum itself, there actually are people posting links to free content within the sticky itself 😛 The wording is just ambiguous enough that people not familiar with forums might think they're supposed to post "below" in replies.
Either way, enjoy the ZoneGFX secret menu freebies section, haha.
I like it. Y'know, just so I can remind myself every now and then that I am.

Why are there three places to find free stuff on this website? The freebies category, the Free Resources forum (also not in the Community>Forum dropdown menu) and the General Freebie Links forum sticky.
It shouldn't be this convoluted to share/find free stuff on this site.
As for whether people should get points for free stuff, I'd rather see free stuff have an identified link to the free item so anyone can go get it themselves through whatever rigamarole that entails AND a button for 50 points so I don't have to go through whatever rigamarole is required, instead just thanking someone else for doing it for me for the princely sum of 50 points. It's not duplicitous this way and the 50 points option is no different than me paying the driver for the pizza that just got delivered to my door.

They sure are! It's been a good couple years of pirating, but expecting it to continue more than a year - maybe two more - just shows how dumb those pirates really are. Flags to half mast, folks. Our digital high seas adventure is about to end.
@legolas18 Interesting. I wonder if it's an 1111 thing. I always get the exact same picture when using NMKD gui, unless I start tweaking the settings in some way.
Odd that you're getting different images from the exact same prompts unless the program is changing the seeds each time.
For anyone interested in a dead simple GUI install on their computer try out this one:
https://nmkd.itch.io/t2i-guiInstalls just like a regular program, you don't have to go through the more intricate 1111 method. It's a nice quick intro to AI so you can see quickly if your PC runs it well enough for you to want to bother installing 1111. Some people even prefer this GUI to 1111 or use both for specialized circumstances.
It's updated fairly consistently and while it's missing some of the bells and whistles of 1111 that mostly seems to be because the developer is waiting to see which of several features become must haves or have settled on a specific method of implementing that feature. It's the wild west right now so I don't blame them for not coding in every shiny new toy that might get changed radically or tossed within six months.
@D0gg0d Beksinski is a personal favourite of mine. Having said that, both of those pictures are awesome. Is one more artistically creative than the other? I'm not interested in arguing semantics, definitions and labels. I'm interested in enjoying art and both of those pictures bring me enjoyment.
Now with a human artist you can look into that artist and find out their personal story, maybe even their story behind the art and that can be a fun addition to a piece of art that maybe gets you thinking about things you might not have before. Without doing that, my own head provides context and story to both of the pictures regardless.
I don't particularly care for either of the first two pictures, but the nature picture does bring up a salient point. I can't think of anything that is a better analogue to ai generated art than nature itself. There isn't a piece of human made art that I have ever stood contemplating longer than I have some scene I've stumbled across out in the wild. There's no guiding hand there, it's the world's greatest random number generator and it still manages to stun me with it's artistic beauty and horror. Winter in the woods next to a stream is one of the most spellbinding images I've ever experienced, replete with stories conjured by my mind on many an occasion.
Nor is there some special power imbued by calling something or someone art or artist. Personally, if someone thinks something is art, it's art. If they think they are an artist, they're an artist. It changes nothing about my life and I'm in no way obligated to enjoy their art.
What I find interesting about AI generated art is that it's easy to see how it can - and will - be used both for kitbashing and blocking for initial concept art and also as a post work refinement tool. Many current professional artists are already using it to speed up concept work and I'm sure we'll see most future digital artists (even any artist working on concepts for physical artworks) begin to use it as a standard part of their everyday tools. Just as they use many tools that were formerly derided as not creating "real" art or called "cheating" such as digital art tools, 3D art tools and kitbashing/blocking.
@hodor I used to use a similar ai to thispersondoesnotexist to create faces for FaceGen for Daz. Allowed you to get some pretty interesting faces based on selectable parameters and they were generally better than trying to find real people pictures since rarely do people just face straight towards the camera 😛
In my experience there are two types of request fillers.
Those who already have an item but have no interest in sharing it publicly. Not relevant to this discussion.
Those who either were likely to get the item anyway and/or are incentivized to go buy the item in order to get the points/add to the community shares. Since your offer of points is in effect an incentive for others to pay real money for an item, the points should definitely be paid regardless of whether or not they post to the blog. The points offered are a far better deal than buying it yourself.
It all looks pretty normal to me.
Not excluding Daz Originals, HD Add ons for 40 bucks are definitely a thing on Daz. HD Add-ons aren't the same thing as HD characters. If I don't want to use HD because it's too hard on my computer, I don't have to with an add-on. With an HD character I'm forced to and older computers of mine have ground to a halt because of a few HD characters.
It appears these tattoos can be used on their own with any character, so ya, that's generally a product on it's own. The fact that it's in it's own little bundle with some facial hair and extra eye colours that can be used with any character is unusual, but the price seems about right for something like that on it's own.
Individual character price seems right. Poses price seems about right. The other products listed in the bundle seem about the right price on their individual pages. Looks like the bundle is providing a deal, if you want all four of these products.
