Regarding freebies posting:
Why is this page hidden? https://zonegfx.com/category/freebies/ Shouldn't it just be listed in the Submit Post dropdown? I don't even know how to post to this category and I've been here for years now and posted plenty of stuff.
Why are there three places to find free stuff on this website? The freebies category, the Free Resources forum (also not in the Community>Forum dropdown menu) and the General Freebie Links forum sticky.
It shouldn't be this convoluted to share/find free stuff on this site.
As for whether people should get points for free stuff, I'd rather see free stuff have an identified link to the free item so anyone can go get it themselves through whatever rigamarole that entails AND a button for 50 points so I don't have to go through whatever rigamarole is required, instead just thanking someone else for doing it for me for the princely sum of 50 points. It's not duplicitous this way and the 50 points option is no different than me paying the driver for the pizza that just got delivered to my door.
@jrnkmail .. What Freebies category.. and the Freebie links sticky is a direction to post free items only in the Freebies section..

@gladson1976 on the menu at the top just hover on Community and click on Forum
and it will take you to a page with all forum stuff in it and free resources is there 😉

@gladson1976 While I suspect it was the intent for people to post in the forum itself, there actually are people posting links to free content within the sticky itself 😛 The wording is just ambiguous enough that people not familiar with forums might think they're supposed to post "below" in replies.
Either way, enjoy the ZoneGFX secret menu freebies section, haha.

I thought they were just for discussions and most of the ones I've seen are pretty much dead. I'd say 95% of people come here for content and 5% for chats, comps and showing their art. Given those percentages I can see why the "groups" are dead.... you don't go to a brothel to play checkers 😘.Lots of dead sections of the site.

6 months since I posted in Hall of Fame
Poser group had a post 3 months ago and 9 months before that.
General talk had two in a 1 month then 3 and 7 months.
2D was 7 months ago.
Forums busier than these get hidden behind a pulldown menu.
@Frank22 said " I’ve never seen before since I’ve been here." and I agree I never knew how to find that before as well only when someone else pointed it out. It should be at top drop down menu (submit Post)(submit Freebie) and should have easy way of posting to it that way freebies don't end up in with the pay point section.
