Once again asking uploaders to add FileSize info

Just make it mandatory, please. Why is it so hard?

I asked this same thing a while ago. It would be nice to know the size of an asset before paying and unlocking the DL link. I don't mind the points, but it's frustrating.

It's size is 5.91GB and i can't download it with my free Mega account download volume 🙁

Or make it a rule to split large files into multiple links with extra mirrors. It's better to be proactive towards helping people get the file than avoid the file entirely. This is a sharing site afterall. Could also force large files to be split up and uploaded on Google Drive.

I run into that same problem with the file size and what I do is use epic privacy browser. It has a built in proxy that you can choose different regions. Just let the thing run under one proxy, then when the message pops up that says your out of bandwidth, change the region and reload the page. It'll ask if you want to continue and just accept it. Just keep doing that until you get the whole file. This will work if it's a single file page, but it doesn't seem to work on a multi file page.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD LARGER MEGA FILES WITH FREE MEGA ACCOUNTS:

On the MEGA ACCOUNT PAGE it lists "Mega Achievements" (see image above), it offers you the ability to install MEGA DESKTOP APP which allows you to download above the limit, once you have added it to the download, the app will note if it has too much, and keep it in the queue - and once the hour or so time elapses it will continue download the big file.

I have only FREE MEGA accounts and this method lets me download stuff like the HUGE billboard things and hair stuff from Linday which is over 6GB most times. The Billboards are sometimes up to 23GB for one product...

Definitely use the Mega app where possible. Hit the limit? Change your ip address and it will continue your download.
