If you genuinely believe this has anything to do with morals and protecting the children, then I have a fantastic beachfront property in Colorado I would love to sell you.
If you have any edgy views and have followed censorship long enough, then you have seen this rear its head on the internet as early as 2004, at least. This slippery slope has just now arrived at something very mainstream, like "coomers."
And always, the excuse is protecting the children and the public image of platforms.
And if you are not a brain-rotted Team Blue or Team Red zombie, then you know that the problem, even back then, came from the financial institutions, more specifically the people running those institutions, like Jewish trillionaire Larry Fink, forcing their social engineering agenda onto the rest of the world based on their own twisted ideologies.July 18, 2025 at 12:21 PM #2136868I’m blackpilled on AI.
It destroys my creative vision.
It’s always like this: I have an idea, I open up Comfy, and I start prompting.
Maybe it gives me something I like (though never what my original vision was), so I take what the AI came up with and go from there.
Maybe I’m not happy with what I got at all. I use various tricks to guide the image generator toward what I want. This takes forever, and I never really get what I envisioned. AI has taught me that it's often smarter to just go with what it suggests instead of trying to force it to make what I actually want.People always compare using AI to being an art director, but that’s not true. If you have a competent artist and explain in detail what you want, they’ll get there. AI doesn’t.
It’s more like browsing a giant DeviantArt or ArtStation with a very advanced search function.
That’s why clicking "generate" over and over, maybe tweaking a parameter here or there, feels exactly like doomscrolling. It’s great when you’re making memes, goofy little jokes, or just want a pretty picture.
Slightly enhancing DAZ scenes is the only time it feels like an actual tool, instead of like an artist who doesn't speak your language and keeps misunderstanding what you want.
With Daz I usually get the artistic vision I want and unlike AI the process itself makes me myself enhance and refine my artistic vision instead of compromising and changing.
It's probably really bad for you to get conditioned to just give up on your creative vision.
AI trains you to become a passive consumer of pretty pictures to a far greater extend than it helps you create what you envisioned.March 31, 2025 at 3:51 AM #2123586@gts6 You are being a silly billy.
Nobody is looking for the objectively best skins, that would be retarded.
This is about looking for the inter-subjectively best skins.
Everything about aesthetics is subjective and comes down to opinion that's why "best skin is subjective" is a redundant statement to make.
Since it's already implied that when talking about beauty it's all about the opinions of subjects. Asking "what is the best skin" doesn't require the explicit addition of 'subjectively' or in 'your opinion'.Anyway I found a nice way to get bluejaunte skin looking a little bit more pale.
I open the translucency color texture in LIE and add a pure red color layer at a low transparency around 5% and set it's blending mode to exclusion.
Then I add a pure white color layer with the blending mode set to soft light and play with the transparency until I get a nice result.
I imagine this works well with all skins that use the same texture for Base color and Translucency color.March 31, 2025 at 3:31 AM #2123585Did you find it?
March 21, 2025 at 2:21 PM #2122546Some good info, thanks a lot.
March 9, 2025 at 8:46 PM #2121192G9 sucks.
Have you ever noticed how the skin on the arms gets a little lumpy in extreme positions?March 7, 2025 at 12:28 AM #2120743Is there a single very pale skin material that is any good?
February 25, 2025 at 4:54 AM #2119221People can make a living being PAs when they sell on Daz3D directly, but they can't if they only sell through third-party sites. The difference in revenue made from Daz's shop to the next is gigantic.
Many of the PAs invest as much time in their products as they would at any full-time job. If you want the quality of the really good G8 assets, then they have to be able to make a living.
It would take at least 3 times as much time to get all the morphs as nice on G9 as on G8. We are on a pirate site, so I know your and my answer, but I doubt the paying customers would be willing to suddenly pay 3 times as much for what, from their perspective, is the same thing.
Just to put this in perspective, if you were to commission one of the good PAs to create one character and pay a fair 3D industry standard price, you would have to pay 3K to 10K. The only reason talented artists can justify making high-quality Daz products is if they can make that amount of money by selling at that $20 price to many different people.
Daz's G9 move was retarded because they did not think about their most important assets when making it, which are their PAs.
February 25, 2025 at 1:32 AM #2119190G9 isn't bad by itself it just extremely unfriendly for PAs. When it's split along sex like with G8F & G8M it's easier to make everything fit nicely.
Daz trying to create the perfect base for male and female in one means if a PA creates a woman than it's more different to the G9 base than any female character for G8f ever was.
G9 is really hard to work with because of that. Every little mistake that would not be noticeable on a G8f is now very noticeable because the difference of the morphs from the base is so extreme. It seems like a lot of PAs don't care to try and optimize for G9 and have realized that creating minimum quality product is as much work as it was to make a quality G8 one and trying to go further becomes exponentially harder.

to C:\Program Files\Poser Software\Poser 12\Runtime ?Because I tried that and that didn't seem to work.
September 28, 2023 at 3:06 AM #2031399@Gladson1976 No that is not what I meant.
I already know how to install poser content in daz studio you just copy that content into the "My Library" directory.I got myself poser 12 and I want to move all the poser content that is in my daz library to poser and if that is too much of a hassle I just want to know how to add content to poser 12.
