^ I saw that when looking on daz. Wolfie makes a lot of hair shades (such as the touchable range) I've brought many of those over the years.

She's still selling at Rendo but ya gotta wonder if Daz isn't offering some kind of deal to get vendors to sell there. I'm sure that they'll get more sales at Daz just because of the (I believe) increased traffic. Daz's forums are also a LOT busier and easier to read.

    The grass is always greener.

As I said earlier, they tend to migrate here & there for a transient better deal.

There are a few others in the queue. Vicey3D and Lully have an almost empty store now at renderosity. And maybe some others.
I am wondering if daz is not using their higher financial firepower to attract artists out of renderosity in order to try to get rid of a competitor... Which would not be good news.

I never thought of Rendo as being much competition. What they COULD do to heat things up is to make Poser 100% compatible with Daz's format. Having another easy option besides Studio would likely back Daz into a corner and force them to get working on Studio 5, something which I'm convinced they aren't doing shit with.

Yup, it seems they are being yo-yos with the 2 companies. I wish more would find the other not so known stores to sell their older Poser items at.

Well personally, I very seldom buy at Daz , because I don't like their marketing style.

'Buy this to get a discount on that!'

    Nope!

Another small thing that really gets me, is they never show how long an item will be on sale.

I can plan & schedule purchases on other sites.

My god, hard agree with @eelgoo in the sale transparency regard. Most items that are technically on sale are often not even marked as such! You have to add them to your cart to see the real percentage. Most of sales last one day and are tied to buying some of the generic new shlog released every day.

And daz+ is a joke. I don't own either, but at least on rendo there are a lot of prime sales that actually offer good discounts compared to lame freebies and 2 worthless coupons on daz.

Not to mention daz tokens for extra discounts that expire in less than a week. It's all convoluted as hell.

Honestly starting to really like rhub and cgbytes/'rotica more and more.

As for the topic, a lot of artists have been selling on both stores. Sometimes g9 version on daz and g8 on rendo. Anagord is the "welcome" artist of today and all of this just makes me wonder why they run this series now and not when the artists actually started selling there? Does it mark their potential exclusivity deal?

I just realized something. Renderosity had a “clearance sale” for certain vendors a while back. And it so happened to be these vendors. I wonder if they signed the contract prior and now they’re offical…

I would say over 80% of what I buy is from 'Rosity.

Their deals are more straight forward & easily understood.

It would be nice if R'Osity would give the points again for non-Prime members purchases, they have lost a lot of sales from me because of it what a stupid move on their behalf and I bet I'm not the only one.

    I completely agree.

I think it was a very ill considered action.

They still could have given the Prime people a significant incentive, without taking away from the remainder of their customers.

    Alright, so updating the list:

from Rendo to Daz (not fully, but a good chunk of stuff)
    Anagord
    Fabiana
    Lilflame
    Pamawo
    Wolfie
    Deecey

from Rendo to Renderhub (also not fully but most if not all new items are posted there)
    Hameleon/SagittariusA
    STZ/ATX
    Muwawya

Again, not everything has been pulled from Rendo from these vendors but it's starting to get pretty sussy.

Frankly, I wish more vendors would embrace selling their items on their own storefronts (or through stuff like Payhip, Ko-Fi, etc) and skip the middleman of these guys. A lot of them have enough rep and clout to be self-sustaining at this point, they'd be crazy not to, unless they like sacrificing a huge chunk of money for the luxury of passing the buck of technical support and promo images off to someone else.

Vicey3D's store at 'Rosity has been drastically cut back suddenly without any hullabalu.

Not seeing anything in their fora about whats going on. No surprise really. They are probably embarrassed about it.

Emma & Jordi did the rounds years back & then set up their own store front.

There isn't much/any new stuff there, but it is of decent quality.
