There is no issue making different kind of bodies with G9, there is a full range of different types on market and there is no technical issue doing so. And for V3D, "it seems" maybe on pictures. But as someone collecting celebs look alike who actually posed and used them, no, not the same. The shape for a K. Perry is clearly not the same as the one used for someone like T. Swift.

Why don't they just use the sculpting tools and morphs that they can buy/pirate, export the morphed image to blender and then simply export as a new obj? There are lots of yt vids showing how to do this. Any idiot can use sliders in DS to morph the base character.
The problem most folks run in to are creating new texture maps from what I've seen.

There is absolutely no issues with G9, that's not what I meant. Despite G9 mesh is more dense the base figure is less detailed compared to G8 (pretty sure Daz did it on purpose). This only means if you want to create a custom morph you need some real skills, this is why G9 is not for everyone.

G9 has definitely changed my opinion of HID. Not a fan of HID G8 but I am playing with Daz again mostly because of HID G9. Kadaj777 and V3D seem to have taken advantage of G9 as well where in my very amateurish opinion there is a noticeable improvement of likeness between their G9 and G8 characters.

Sangriart was my go to G8 celeb vendor but has not made the leap in quality with her G9 for some reason.
