@khefrenn Thanks for that, that is the store I looked at.
Looking at the models now, taking all your points, I have to say wow, yeah there's definitely laziness and the focus is on the head morphs and textures.
September 17, 2025 at 5:16 PM #2145621@31971207 Nah. Biggest discount apparently they have 40 %. You might want to hover around flippednormals if you like discounts like Daz. They have 70% off. I got a few stuff off it.

October 6, 2025 at 1:43 PM #2148069A little update with latest models:
Mora : Chloe Grace Moretz
Rysel : Keira Knighley
Kara : Kim Kardashian
Margo: Margaret Qualley
Regina : no ideaOctober 6, 2025 at 7:24 PM #2148113Rysel is Rachel Weisz, not Keira Knightley.
Margo = Margaret QualleyOctober 11, 2025 at 12:42 AM #2148627I have been playing with RKS characters lately and come away feeling that the morphs really are not very good. The likeness mostly disappear as soon as the skins are replaced with something else. IMO this is the case for all RKS characters available here.
On the other hand I found HID G9 have improved so much from his/her G8 characters. HID G8 is pretty much like RKS G9 where the morphs aren't the source of the likeness. However HID G9 sculpts, not all but a few, do carry over the likeness when using other skins.
October 11, 2025 at 12:49 PM #2148719When likeness disappear when the skin materials change, it's usually because the character was created with wraps rather than sculpting. If you make/buy wraps, you're pretty much stuck with the materials of the original character. Face Transfer has the same problem. You can get pretty good results with it in recreating characters (especially with G9), but any changes to the mats pretty much destroys it because the wrap uses the skin materials to create the likeness. They basically burn in contours and features into the materials vs sculpting them using the mesh of the character.
October 12, 2025 at 10:09 AM #2148833Problem with RKS is that he is apparently also stealing assets from other vendors, at least his earlier models apparently were just a copy from Mousso and HID for example where he simply renamed filed and claimed them as his own.
Sadly I can't find the forum post for it anymore, probably was deleted by DAZ trying to stay neutral instead of investigating the claims and protecting their vendors.
October 12, 2025 at 5:53 PM #2148877He got banned from CGTrader when they discover he was selling stolen content... sadly other marketplaces didn't do the same.
October 13, 2025 at 7:30 AM #2148944Daz is just completely ignoring the issue as I mentioned above. And Renderhub requires the original creator to file the report, they will just deny reports from third parties.
That's why RKS is still allowed on Renderhub.
October 13, 2025 at 9:02 AM #2148947Genuine question:
Earlier models = removed models from the store ?
Cos Mousso only released one model based on a celebrity on G9, and the first models RKS released on the store are based on Isabella Merced, Dafne Keen, Emma Myers,Daisy Ridley. HID never made a model based on theses actresses. None of the G8 Mousso celebrity look alike back in the day was one of these.October 13, 2025 at 9:17 AM #2148949'..the focus is on the head morphs and textures.'
It is not just him.
That is a pretty common problem with G9.
To be fair, in doing that, it is probably playing to G9's strengths, such as they are.

October 13, 2025 at 10:36 AM #2148959RendeHub knows very well he used to resell other people content (I got one of my models removed from his store, so yes, they know!). He is now using some AI tool to get the likeness I think and maybe face transfer or something similar, this is why there is no work at all on the body, it's not a G9 problem, he is just not a 3D sculptor.
October 13, 2025 at 11:39 AM #2148972It does seem to be a G9 problem, if this is anything to go by.
All V3D's G9 characters seem to have the same body, so far as I can see.
October 13, 2025 at 12:18 PM #2148975G9 is just more difficult to work with compared to previous Genesis figures, you need to be a real 3D sculptor to get good results with it. If there is no work on the body it means the "artist" is simply unable to do it.
