I stopped sharing and making model conversion for Free Resources about 9 months ago, though I'm still making points for my older stuff. Moved on to greener fields. So when the black vans pull up outside and they kick in my front door, I can claim I tried to be good, officers, I really, really did.
In reality, and with limited resources, I reckon they have their hands full with other things far more pressing than minor software piracy.
So all in all what's the worst thing someone can expect? A permanent IP ban from renderhub or can/will they go after you legally?
I've been banned twice and didn't even share the item I bought on the second ID. different email, different IP address, different way of purchasing things, etc.
It wasn't even 3EUK's items.
So I have a third ID and at this point am waiting to buy until something comes along that I must have.
Fortunately, there are a ton of email services out there.
Would be curious to find out the record for the most Id's on the site.
Also, how do you keep track of who you are today.
Perhaps a post it note on the side of the computer.
On another site I was banned for something I wrote.
I came back with two separate identities.
I used to have arguments with myself. I would usually win.

Seriously, this gets a bit muchI was my usual non-pirating self, then I was my mom, now I'm my dad. Once that gets banned, I'll be my sons, daughters-in-law, sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandparents, etc. For now I'm downloading the free stuff I'd snagged but didn't get downloaded. My VPN allows me to change IP addresses on the fly.
As someone said earlier, this is a civil matter and I think it's scare tactics. I find it interesting that @Dita got that letter. good luck with mine - I have so many emails and aliases across the web that I challenge them to find the one I use here. I think that where Dita is concerned they're bluffing.
I've been reporting all the blatant game rips being sold on RenderHub to the various companies legal departments, lmao (i.e. Capcom, Riot, Disney, Larian, etc.) and saying they're being sold alongside 18+ content.
Apparently my efforts have worked somewhat, tho' I'm seeing a lot more direct game ripped items on RenderHub with fake names but the contents are the same lmao
I noticed no one is really posting new content from RH. There is some stuff I wanted to buy from them, should I be careful about posting that stuff here? Don't want to cause any problems 🙂

Yeah, you definitely can. Just make sure to check the files for any tracking data before sharing it.
Timing is of the essence. Renderhub has a presence here.
You buy the product at 10:00am there post it at 10:30am here.
It doesn't have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure it out.
There is no trial at RenderHub...you are banned. No Supreme Court.
Another case of timing, you buy it and wait to post.
Someone else beats you to it (happened)Two reasons for buying products:

If you buy it for #1 your ahead.The ideal is to to buy it because you want it and since you
have it you wish to share it with others.
