maybe they just dont sell a whole lot of product sometimes, and if you buy it and rush right out to put it up on a pirate site, if you are the only one who bought it, it can be pretty obvious who you are.
Looks like someone found how they probably do it - gotta look for a .dbf file embedded in the zip, which provides a timestamp.

.DBF is a database file from the dBase days...
Is there really a DBF file in there? If so, that file can be deleted as it isn't used by Daz Studio.

@bidule FYI If you remove the ✅ on the panel during a Fill, there won't be any blog posts, and "only the people who requested will get the item".
@bidule When there is a huge ass check mark on the top of the panel that's the problem, when there isn't that's the problem, when you can read about in the FAQ that's the problem, when folks can't post on the blog easily that's the problem, when there are no blog posts that's the problem, when there are too many blog posts that's the problem...

And yeah we don't care about the member's safety, that's why we dropped everything and posted instantly the RHub workaround with the guide...
1, If you can't communicate your opinion without calling the other names, then don't even bother.
2, If you check the previous threads, you can see that there are counter opinions about the default state of the checkmark and we decided to leave it in the ticked ON state and 9 out of 10 members don't have a problem noticing or using the checkmark. (Also if they accidentally post something we gladly remove it - They have minimum 2 days for it).
3, If you check the previous threads, connecting the requests with the blog system was in the top 5 wishes, so no, the request system is not only about the requests.
4, If you don't like the site or the system or the staff, I'm sure you can find other communities or create your own.
now we gotta know which BH vendors are using said .dbf files.
i wouldn't be surprised if it's the usual suspects here.
@scoobydude51 probably all of them. The timestamp would have to be generated at time of purchase and added into the zipped file, and would be triggered by a website script. Doubtful they would have the script only run for some vendors and not others. Its almost certainly a site-wide thing, but I could be wrong about that, of course, but unlikely.
Just another thought on this, besides the dbf file, there could also be files with a unique modify or creation date. Someone should check those to verify if that is or is not the case.
Yeah, i checked for any .dbf files in my dad library, but nothing showed up in the search results. I might try using a better search tool tomorrow
