Yes because it will appear in his/her points history showing who transferred the points.
But there will be no separate notification sent when the points are transferred, unlike when someone DLs something you've shared.Make sure you get his "real" name in the box. People have 2 names for some unknown reason and it can get confusing.
The two names...
This is common with blogs and forums that allow users to change their name. One is the registration name, which never changes, the other is the public display name, which the user can edit at will. That's so the login doesn't get messed up by changing the username.
Normally, the registration name is not publicly visible. Most such sites have a resolver though, so that mesasges can be sent to the proper user without exposing the actual registration name. I guess ours is the budget WordPress, so you need to manually send to the registration name.Can you imagine what Zone would be like on an Invision Power Board? 🙂
