Yep... there will be correction morphs. That said, I know full well why my G8 stuff loads slowly. After around 200+ custom character morph sets and dozens of add-on morph kits, things bog down.
My plan here is to minimize that to only the custom morph sets that I build and import, and only the necessary bits after that.
Failing that, I'll kick it down and use G3.

That's a problem 🙂 .... I'm also tired of long downloads - removed most of the unused characters - so much free space 😉
And the loading time has been greatly reduced.

I mean, the new figure will be harder in the future because of these jcm - with the same number of characters to load - the main problem of the figure is stupid topology .....
And if you also add jcm for geotransplants ...... a nightmare.I'm thinking of regenerating a G8 directory structure, moving just a few things into it, and seeing how that works, but existing scenes and sets may throw errors by the ton. I'll see how that goes.
@Nil @bidule, I have a small "How to" make one click characters txt file, you can follow - once you are done with your mix. It includes among other adjust "rigging to shape", and "ERC Freeze", so that you end up with a new FBM morph of your mix.
I try to send it in a PM.
All of my characters are custom dial spun starting on 8 and I moved to 8.1, removed the link in G8.1 to the G8 morphs did an export and import of morphs to 8.1 so only my character morphs for the characters I use are in there for ultra speedy loading. I am not moving to 9 unless a skin converter is released. If one isn't I'll just use 9 for beasts/aliens/etc like I do with 8 now, and stick with 8.1.
@oldwolf - how do you de-link G8 and 8.1? I already use 8.1 exclusively for my toys.

Make a BACKUP copy first as I don't recall if I had to make other fixes as it was back when 8.1 was released.
In there is a line:
"data/DAZ 3D/Genesis 8/Male/Morphs",
Delete that line and save.
Warning, you will have access to ONLY g8.1 morphs, no G8 morphs at all so if there is something you MUST have like expression morphs, ear morphs, or growing up, or whatever, you MUST make a copy of those into your G8.1 folder.
Thanks again, that's fine with me for conversion sake. Can always put the original file back when needed.
If you made something with the G8 morphs and you do this, those morphs will still be loaded even with this done, but only the ones actually used. It won't try to load every stinking morph in existence in your G8 folder LOL.
It's those unwanted morphs I need gone. Scrolling through and finding morphs I will never use or had forgotten about caused a headache.
As the topic title says ...Are you ready to buy into Genesis 9?
I think resistance is futile as the creations and add-ons arrive.
