The two names...
This is common with blogs and forums that allow users to change their name. One is the registration name, which never changes, the other is the public display name, which the user can edit at will. That's so the login doesn't get messed up by changing the username.
Normally, the registration name is not publicly visible. Most such sites have a resolver though, so that mesasges can be sent to the proper user without exposing the actual registration name. I guess ours is the budget WordPress, so you need to manually send to the registration name.
Can you imagine what Zone would be like on an Invision Power Board? 🙂
