    I apologize if this is a stupid question, but other than the last few days when I came back (my computer with DAZ has been out of commission but I digress) there is now the section for upcoming, so I think things are done a bit differently now. Anyway, my question is, once an item is filled is there a way to know how long it will take to show up in the blog (the one in question is not on the upcoming I checked). Also at least some of the upcoming I checked appear to be able to be downloaded (I didn’t use my points to find out). It’s just I tend to spend time looking for things new at Daz that I want to render with before I actually have time to work on it, so it’s not necessarily worth it for me to offer points for a filled request if it’s going to come out in a couple days. At least not for the amount of them I find LOL. Help appreciated!

    Some requests are filled but only handed out to a few. Others are completely filled with everyone who made the request getting the item they asked for. Some go to the blog but some members prefer to keep the item(s) they share off the blog. It's pot luck. An item you request might never see the blog, or other sites.

    So on that note it depends how deperate you are for the item.

    Thanks

    One other question then - if the person never posts it and doesn't send if you offer points (going to try that first) can you send through a second request?

    The way it is supposed to work is this:

    https://zonegfx.com/forums/topic/request-thread-rules/

    That said it is not really enforceable, just best practice.

    🙂

    Hello, sorry if this is't the right place, I just think this is a question related to this.

    With a request fulfilled but hasn't been distributed out to the blog, if I really need that item would it be possible to DM people for it?

    Please pardon my bad English, as I have read the Rules above, but I'm not sure if I understood them correctly yet.

    @Merlina. Best read the rules eelgoo posted.

    Personally I even wouldn't bother asking over and over again on the original request.

    If people don't want to share with others than the one's they already have then that's up to them. If you did that you might not get anything at all. Just ask on the original request post and wait. If nothing shows that's life. If it does be happy 🙂

    @laeblosso

    You might try that, or you could raise a new request thread.

    Either of the above options are less than ideal, as the item really should have already been posted to the blog by somebody at some reasonable point.

    Thank you for the answer!

    I have checked the forum and saw a request thread of Trendy Threads Outfit Bundle being made, which was filled in 26-01-2022 and until now I still haven't seen the item on the blog yet.

    @billyhill I hadn't requested it, just the thread was closed. The person may very well give it to me; I IM'd them, I was just curious what the next step is if they don't answer and if you can open a new thread or not, which I see you can. Thanks.

    @merlina

    If the person who posted the request doesn't respond you can always ask one of the members who requested the item. If the original poster allows them to share it with you that'll be fine as far as I'm aware. A shit thing to do is share it out even when asked not to do so.

    @billyhill I asked the one who fulfilled it, but yes I can try that next, thanks. Plus, it's a new item at Daz, so it may just not be in the blog yet.

    @merlina

    I hope it works out for you and you get a reply, and the items you want 🙂

    I've DMed a few people for filled items a couple of times and so far always gotten a response. I don't know why some people don't post to things to the blog, or allow one of the people requesting it to, but it's allowed so I can't complain

    Having rules you dont enforce is kinda pointless.

    Want to enforce it? Have all filled post have to be sent to a Mod address linked in the top of every request. If the filler doesnt post it in 2 weeks then the Mod posts it. Seems kinda easy to me. If they dont send it to the Mod then reset thier points totals or turn DLs off till they link it.

    It also causes confusion when a request gets closed and 3 months later a person requests it. Oh, that was filled 3 months ago by IDGAF. Maybe you should PM them and see if they are still alive.

    It's really disappointing when you realise that a request has been filled and closed and you don't get a response from the person who filled it. This happened to me on a couple of occasions.

    It tends to happen more when you request older items that were filled months (or sometimes, a year) previous. I know it's up to the person who shared the item whether or not they post it to the blog; but if everyone behaved like that, there wouldn't be a blog.
