i'm happy if the community gets a bit cleaned up of not active users/leechers, however I really would love for you to re-consider the expiring on points. I have been active in the last years but at times, because of work, i can't manage to use daz for a number of months and would be very sad to loose the points i accumulated by filling requests. I like to keep my points handy for when i need to make new requests or get some assets, and would be sad if they were to disappear all of a sudden. I am not a "rich" user by any means and took me a while to get where I am. I hope it may be reconsidered. Just my 2 cents. Cheers!
October 27, 2024 at 8:13 PM #2098173it's a mixed outfit, the arms are covered with the skull parts from this asset:
necromancer armor for g81mI don't recognise the rest but if anyone knows, i'd be happy to know too
October 25, 2024 at 9:46 AM #2097548Thanks Larry, highly appreciated.
Do you happen to recognise this one too?
October 18, 2024 at 6:59 AM #2096312just curious to ask if is there a way to decode the links nowadays for R-s? some assets are a commodity there but it's such a difficult path to get links nowadays..
April 5, 2024 at 7:16 PM #2068731awesome, thanks a lot!!
September 21, 2023 at 10:45 AM #2028712thanks so much!!
May 12, 2023 at 10:53 PM #1970325ahhh now that you mentioned it, it's clear. Also, I should have looked at the fingers, after a closer look it's easier to understand the one on the right is SD. Cheers!
May 12, 2023 at 2:27 PM #1970164@Frank21, which of the two images was made in daz ? I actually cannot tell they both look like 3d art..
May 9, 2023 at 4:30 PM #1968617I fell into the vortex of SD as well, so much so that I have not opened DAZ or the zone in around 3 months and used SD every day instead. It is an incredibly powerful tool and with the right skills, any sort of image can be generated. True that it is very hard to get what you want, but with patience and watching tutorials one can learn how to get to the desired final image. The sole tragedy and the hardest thing to master are fingers and toes, that's really difficult and surely hope the community will offer some tools to fix it. Inpainting is a nightmare for that as well and it is very hard to actually get good fingers in general, at least that is the only thing I couldn't master at all.
Interesting to read all your information and directions and it is also cool to use basic renders/preview from Daz and import them into SD, I have seen some doing it but still need to try.
January 16, 2023 at 12:49 AM #1914313bumping to know the models and outfits, thx
January 12, 2023 at 8:37 PM #1912953@Ethiopia he must somehow have filled some items to get points because in 7 months you can't get 70k with just daily logins. In any case, the community of course works when we all contribute to it 🙂
January 1, 2023 at 9:23 AM #1908390@ZGFX202112 thanks for your input so if i got it right:
1 iray conversion and save material preset as duf
2 export the character as poser (excuse my ignorance but isn't V4 a native poser figure already? what will change when doing so in daz?)
3 use genx to convert poser to G3
4 use legacy uv for g3 where i should load the duf material preset saved, correct?
5 alternatively use the software from blacksmith to generate g3 texturesIf i got it right, this one seems an easy enough way to do it, thanks! I will try
December 8, 2022 at 2:21 PM #1898885i'd be happy for the points if possible, and thanks for the wonderful gift!!
December 5, 2022 at 7:28 PM #1897870Thanks for the explanation LivingPixels. I understand perfectly what you say and can feel your disappointment.
I also understand that I am part of said users that take advantage of sales while trying to respect my monthly budget, cause unfortunately for me 3d is a hobby. If I were to make money with renders, I'd be happy to buy more products even at full price but then again would be because of a commissioned work.
I know it won't count much but Rendo is still the place where i spent most of my money in the last 2 years so i feel i paid a few salaries for some artists i love particularly and supported greatly.
I also am happy to see that some artists don't make a big deal of this site and in my experience it only lead to me spending much more as I got to discover some PA that I never heard of cause of the zone and bought their stuff.
Hope things will improve for you but perhaps think of having your assets also elsewhere.
December 5, 2022 at 3:16 PM #1897820The clearance sale was really a surprise to me and i have been getting assets since 2020, never noticed it before but love to hear it wasn't a one off, thanks for confirming it.
Sorry to hear the sales tank profits of the artists but also, it seems to me some products from 2/3 years ago could stay at a nice price as most of the purchases would have happened when the product was in its first year of life.
There is so much content out there that i doubt that aside a few OC collectors like me , most people won't bother with older assets, so i think it's nice they give me an option to buy very old assets for a nice price.
Heck I even buy V4 stuff sometimes and I fell i shouldn't pay top price for those ^^
