    For this site there seems to be no reason to add a referrer header when clicking on a link to an external page.
    The same might apply to embedded images - not sure whether the image hosts require that one uses a referrer.

    Before one points to forum rules please ignore my personal opinion about this: I have no problem if the images would be downloaded from the original host so if one clicks on the product link the image would be already in the local browser cache and not downloaded again in a slightly different resolution.

    I believe zonegfx.com sends the referrer when clicking on a link so it's easy for site to check the 'referer' header and block access if set to something they don't like.

    I sent a message to hunter some days ago. We'll see whether the 'Referrer-Policy: strict-origin-when-cross-origin' will be adjusted to ’no-referrer’ or ’same-origin’.

    'If someone wants to say “This post is dead”, that’s fine.' Yes it is and it may actually be true for the user because issues with the browser, VPN, ... but not in general. Below the downloads there is comment section but one needs a 2nd account to use it. To get some feedback the 'report link' is the other option.

    Of course it is annoying if users can move a working post to the bin. As soon as the uploader and admins need to restore it something went wrong. I assume that this isn't the intention of users when they report dead links. While some artists might have some accounts here just for this purpose.
    I wish there was a TY / <3 button for every working download.

    One interesting thing is that I can report a link as broken or malware even without paying for it.

    That's the problem with the 'Report Dead Link' button. If the download doesn't work it doesn't mean the link is dead.
    Usually one should get an error message with 'File not found / removed' if the link is dead. Like when trying to download https://turbobit_net/aaaaabbbbccc/file-not-found.html (replace '_' with '.' if you really want to test the link). This would be a proper 'dead' link.
    Giving as much information as possible in the input box will help the uploader to understand the issue.

    If the download fails due to broken Captcha tests etc. it's nothing the uploader can fix (unless they want to upload to a 2nd file host).

    Sending a message directly to the uploader to inform them seems to be the problem. A 'yes/no --> file removed/server problem/spam/...' 'did the download work?' would allow the software to collect more information. And it could delay the information and inform the uploader 24h later if there is only one report. Or inform the reporter that the download works for others.
    It sounds like a simple workflow but it needs to be implemented and/or configured.

    People reporting dead links might simply have issues.
    'Server maintenance' might be considered as temporarily dead so people may click on it. There should be a 'working/thanks' option to create a simple statistic of good vs. dead reports. So the system could discard all dead reports if they are followed by good one.

    This script has 2500 lines of code. Even though it uses methods and is quite structured the only documentation are the method and variable names.

    I think it looks for the time information and adds a temporary bone rotation to the timeline for each note. At least the video looks like this. The instruments named in the file are just to display proper names for midi tracks.

    I'd use something which support MusicXML export like MuseScore. The XML file supports also fingering hints for the finger to be used. Also 'text' is supported so one could use it for lip-sync. It doesn't contain timing information, one would need to sum up duration/type for following notes.
    It also has an 'instrument' section to describe the instruments, eg 'keyboard.piano'.

    A single note from the XML:

    <note default-x="81.88" default-y="-65.00" dynamics="88.89">
            <pitch>
              <step>G</step>
              <octave>3</octave>
              </pitch>
            <duration>1</duration>
            <voice>1</voice>
            <type>eighth</type>
            <stem>up</stem>
            <staff>1</staff>
            <notations>
              <technical>
                <fingering>1</fingering>
                </technical>
              </notations>
            <lyric number="2" default-x="6.50" default-y="-81.93" relative-y="-30.00">
              <syllabic>single</syllabic>
              <text>Are</text>
              </lyric>
            </note>

    Do you want the 3d figure to play with 10 fingers?

    This will be interesting as there is no 'c' -> thumb, 'd' -> index, 'e' -> middle finger assignment in most midi files.

    Synthesia has some kind of note-2-finger hints when playing a midi file.
    MuseScore allows to export files as MusicXML which might contain finger hints if they exist in the original file.
    A trained AI model should be able to suggest a suitable finger to play a note.

    At least the June0500 version has a tab 'Assignments' / 'Add Item' and supports the selection of channels and target bones. The 'wurzkeil88XRot7resaved3.txt' file uses channel01 which would be one finger. The assignment of 'c/d/e/..' to a channel should be possible, even though one needs to do this manually. Maybe an XML format is better suited to do this than the midi2text output file.

    All of their replies in https://zonegfx.com/forums/topic/the-last-of-us/ have been deleted as far as I can tell The '@' link at the bottom points to a non-existing page.

    https://zonegfx.com/author/zemlon/ still exists.

    Sorry for the confusion, totally my bad wording. I didn't meant that I want to charge points for it. I meant that I have no problem to be charged points for it as long as it is clearly marked as free. In this case it is obviously no scam and I have the choice to spend points or to get it from elsewhere.

    PS: The ‘Free Resources’ section is not linked on the main page so I finally used Google to locate https://zonegfx.com/forums/forum/free-resources/ as when I search for "free" here I find Plants, Outfits, Shaders, ... but not the forum.

    Not everyone wants to register with X and download from there.

    The author took the time to download it from X and posted it here. As long as 'FREE' is in the title or description and clearly visible it is fine for me to charge points for a download from here.

    I used and still use Daz to load assets and pose or animation presets and click on render. This works quite good and is very basic 3D. Probably not too bad for a start. One can later switch to a different tool.

    "Daz Studio is the worst start: you think everything is easy…" LoL
    To animate something in Daz or trying to point with the finger to something which moves or to grab something with a character is such a pain. If I click on 'Simulate' the dForce outfits tend to explode. For more advanced 3D one may really want to use a different tool.

    Throw stones on me but please don't ban me. 😉
    Banning people will likely not help. If one can't download things here one will find a different site. Or users may start posting a lot of crap to get points.

    To paint something which looks realistic one needs a reference. This applies both to humans and AI. Looking at photos or around for inspiration is not stealing. As far as I can tell AI doesn't copy elements like glasses or rings. As a result such things often look strange.

    I feed https://picso.ai/create daily with some input. It has its limitations and looks odd sometimes but it is much faster than any render. So I use and like it to generate images. I don't have high expectations so I'm often happy with the result even if some parts of the image clearly look bad (or generated by a bad AI).

    If I had more time I'd setup a scene in Daz3D and render it as I really like to compose things on my own.
