I think your render is the first time I've felt like it might be a good thing. I took a crack at it. Then two cracks at it. The style reminds me of Poser's style, which isn't a bad thing. But for me, I'm still using pwtoon with volumetrics because I have a certain look I aim for. Filatoon drives me cray cray so far.

    *poking thankfully at the threads*

I ended up reviving AcDZ's cameras in a pinch because rolling back didn't help. I genuinely suspect the extra installs from premier broke everything. AoA's cameras were literally working fine until the day I finished installing the extras.

I"m looking to roll back to sku::13176 for starters. I know this string after much agonizing, many tears, and private cursing of the DAZ people. I upgraded to Premier. This is when the trouble began.

I'm not good with discord, I'm afraid. I've tried repeated times. No time. Too much to do. In places like this, the words stay put which is nice. I can find them to read them that way. To think I used to be a constant iirc person.

"When I upgrade I always keep the old installations, until I am convinced the new issue is stable for me."

I as well, but recently I had to restart a download library and got a new old computer. I mistakenly thought DIM was keeping all of my downloads in the folder I designated. Well. It is... but perhaps it isn't. I have pieces of DAZ from october. Pieces from December, etc. Put them all together you have a complete package. They're not complete alone. So that it looks like its deleting the old installation files that got updates. Which has left me paddle-less.

Thank you for the download link. If I can find out how to install that separate so that any upgrades I do won't overwrite I'll give it a shot.

Insert many frustrated curse words here. Why do they have to do this. Roll back isn't a crime. It should be an option.

I found this because I randomly typed in "DAZ Sucks" into a search engine. LOL.

I'm a DAZ user. I do have Blender. It... uh... doesn't like my computer and was problematic back when it did. And it's too much for me. It's just flat out too much. I'd gone to DAz way way back when I thought 3D programs were strictly for art reference material (such innocent days), and I found the interface a lot more intuitive than Poser 5 (which I had). So I just kind of used DAZ more and more over the years until I use it almost exclusively. Which is good because Poser Pro doesn't like to work anymore either.

I use DAZ for animation. No I'm not a professional animator, but for the Mohegan Language Project it's fine.

I've spent years working with their animation shaders to get a particular look that has been imitated in places like the Dragon Prince for the past year or two, but I'd been working on the look for years for my webcomic, Akashik. (And yes I've been told often the art is beautiful.)

    But....

    ....

You know that phrase "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"?

I used to be able to use their old lip sync engine in 32 bit, do what I need, save, and go to 64 bit.

Can't do that anymore, I notice as of today.

So I've my latest animation ready to go, but 32 bit crashes when I tell it to render. And I can't get it into 64 bit.

I have been increasingly upset with DAZ over the past few years since ownership changed hands. It's apparently I will have to make a switch for some things. But I can tell you Blender won't be the option for me.

    Sigh!

When you land on Bailey's 7, you may not like what you see.
There are monsters back of every rock and up in every tree.
There are demon flies up in the skies and manticores beneath.
And, there's little fuzzy animals with *big sharp teeth!*

    There are little fuzzy animals,
    Little furry animals,
Little fuzzy animals with *big sharp teeth!*

Now, not all of the monsters there should fill you full of dread.
For the demon flies speak English and they love to scout ahead.
And the manticores will pull you through the muck and through the mud.
But, the little fuzzy animals will *drink your blood!*

    Yes, the little fuzzy animals,
    Little furry animals,
Little fuzzy animals will *drink your blood!*

When nightfall comes to Bailey's, with the darkness growing deep,
The music of the jungle night will lull you into sleep.
It's so restfull and so peaceful that you'll never feel the pain,
Of the little fuzzy telepaths that *eat your brain!*

    Yes, the little fuzzy telepaths,
    Little furry telepaths,
Little fuzzy telepaths that *eat your brain!*

So, when you go to Bailey's now, you'll know what lies in store.
There are hordes of friendly fiends and gentle monsters there galore.
But, with all the cute and furry ones, you know what you must do.
Get those little fuzzy buggers before *they get you!*

    Get those little fuzzy buggers,
    Get those little furry buggers,
Get those little fuzzy buggers before *they get you!*

Kind of like the old days with generation 4, which would ask you what you wanted to load. =^-^=
