@supreme-leech If you don't have Comfy UI installed, d/l and install it.https://comfy.org/download Download a restoration workflow, use FLUX Kontext or Qwen Edit models. Then load a workflow that has image resizing and supports Lora. Then add your prompt and run.
If you don't fancy doing all that, you can do so online using Adobe Firefly. Firstly, upload a photo and edit using a prompt. It's not bad; the results are fairly decent and it's affordable (compared to Grok, everything is). There's also a cheap as chips Chinese owned site called Fotor which throws up mixed results.

I know it's not a popular opinion, but I like working with AI. Recently, I managed to restore some old family photos that were taken in the early 1900s. I was impressed by the results due to how perfectly the likenesses were recreated. I tried the same thing in Photoshop with less success. A family member sent the same pictures off to a professional for restoration a few years back and the results were terrible.
Daz seriously needs to up its game, but having said that, there will always be people who use it; the same with other artistic mediums. I don't think it's dying off any time soon. People like working with 3D, so there isn't any danger of it becoming obsolete in the near future.
AI has improved in leaps and bounds, when compared to how it behaved just two years ago. I recently watched an episode of an AI made series on YouTube, and while the movement and speech have some problems that need ironing out, the character consistency was amazing.
I still enjoy Daz, but get more lifelike results with AI. The people who are complaining fall into two camps; those with genuine concerns and those who are contrarians who make it their life's business to bitch about everything and virtue signal, based on their ideological affiliations. It really annoys me when someone makes a funny meme using AI and all the ''ackshully'' this is ''AI slop'' and you're ''damaging the environment'' crowd flood the comments. Jet fuel damages the environment too, but how many people are out there trying to ban air travel? I also have a pet peeve when it comes to the term ''AI slop'' which has now become a blanket description for all AI creations, when originally it meant really noticeable low effort AI images.
That's just my tuppence worth; I'm sure many will disagree. 🙂
Using Win PC and I can connect to the site. Although I do get the message that the connection isn't secure and the option to continue to the site anyway or go back.
Posts mainly get rejected if the item is already on the blog - provided everything is filled out correctly. Always search beforehand before you post. Sometimes, your item already exists as an asset included in a bundle - it happened to me when first I joined; I posted the Angel for G8 character, but the post was deleted. I had searched and seen another character with the same name but not my character. I remember messaging Anjabear (RIP) and she told me that my character was already on the blog in a bundle. The Freja 8 Viking Maiden Bundle had shown up in my search, but I stupidly ignored it and didn't read the assets list, even though the Angel character was part of it. 😳😅

I've not been on here regularly recently. I kind of just dip in and out. I really hope @monkseye, and @lapucelle are okay. And, I had no idea @frank22 hadn't been around in a while. Hope he's okay. I thought @anjabear was still around but concentrating more on the Discord channel 🙁
