If a product is no longer available like if the original site died is it OK to create a post where those files can be downloaded?
Posts of old, ancient, NLA (No Longer Available) items are absolutely, positively, hysterically allowed and encouraged!
A lot of these vintage items are great. Vicky Four was blessed with tons of excellent clothes and accessories that newer creators don't bother making, and much of it can be easily adapted to newer figures. Same with props. some of it is lower quality with a low resolution mesh and textures that where simplistic but again, slapping a newer texture or shader on it brings it up to par.
Perverted'Otica released a lot of great 'toys' way back in the old days. Items from DirtierEddy and other former creators are terrific and I'm sure your 'girls' will enjoy playing with them.So yes, please! Fill the shares with old stuff!

Ethiopia told you. NLA is the common acronym used when an item's source is no longer available.
Thanks for clarifying that, though I would suggest adding this info somewhere to the FAQ section.
NLA is a viable tag.
It is one of the benefits of sites such as ours that items that cannot be purchased anymore might still be available here.

Absolutely. I've made out like a pirate (pun intended) on old items that I never thought I'd be able to get.
This is one of the objective goods that piracy performs. Preservation. Humans are never going to just "own nothing and be happy" the way the elites wish they would. Every time Sony or some other tech giant decides they will be the arbiters of what you can and cannot own, they justify and legitimize piracy.
If buying is not owning, piracy is not stealing.
This is especially true for older games that are impossible to find physical copies of anymore. Some titles are not even available anywhere other than by piracy. Some of my favorite games are no longer playable on modern PCs without a ton of fan made patches or custom engines just to get them running.
I would assume so, yeah, I remember requesting some items that were no longer available, and I've recently posted an item that was no longer available for purchase too!
I really like the idea of a 'NLA' section, mainly because I hope it would contain older products. I look for these for many reasons, entirely because of their age. They were designed to be used on older computers and are generally smaller than today's massive packages. Older items tend to be simpler, I spend a lot of time re-working items to something I want and the simpler the base the easier it is. Some artists from earlier years of 3D creation seemed to be producing more interesting, creative ideas. Others made good geometry but poor textures, so the item can be improved fairly easily given the access to new paint tools and textures. In saying this, I found some artists were making items that defied my best attempts! A good question I read on the subject a long time ago 'What are your fave stand alone tools you use with Poser?' I mean small ones, mainly text editors, paint progs, I was hoping to have found new ideas but it seems like a lot of the people that produced python scripts aren't around now.
