Well it pains me to say this, being deductive by both nature and education, it's time for some empirical knowledge. If you don't understand that, ask Frank. I'm sure he knows what I mean.
I had a 40 series gpu that I was running in an i7 4 core 8 thread machine. I knew or at least suspected that the gpu was bottlenecked by the motherboard and cpu, but I didnt know to what degree.
Recently I was able to persuade a guy to sell me an I9 ultra 285 k without the 5080 gpu that it came with. The good news, which will rattle the opinions of alot of people, is that the renders, animation, and overall performance, like loading expressions and poses, are now much faster than before even though the gpu is still the same. The magnitude of this improvement really surprises me because the gpu still runs rings around the 20 core processor in renders.
So, if you have a few bucks to throw at a new cpu and already own a decent gpu, you should see a healthy improvement. Moreso if your cpu is way out of date I guess.
There having said that I can get back to deducing how many angels can do the foxtrot on the head of a needle.
Looks like I still have the installer. They get stored in xxx\Users\Public\Documents\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\Downloads, if anyone else is looking for them. Maybe not there if you ticked the delete after install checkbox.

I've studied this virus thing and its either wet markets or anti malware companys that create all viruses.
If someone else said this i apologize. Try just adding alot of smoothing to the garment and it will lessen the cling to the cleavage. Also will reduce the stretch of the texture.
several months ago I went from 11 gb vram to 16 thinking I'd do more big renders. I havent really, but the new card is much faster so I guess it was worthwhile. I can do animations now but I dont do them much either.

That has such people in’t.’There was a microsoft update about the same time that this started. Today I rebooted my computer for a different reason and at first glance it seems to have fixed the issue with virus detections. Someone else try this and let me know if it changes your operation as well.
I've been seeing this for about 2 weeks now. Strangely it seems to be the sex pose mods that have it the most. When they get to 3d-load they still report on defender , but when they show up on render-state they are mostlty clean but still report severe virus occasionally. I was going to mention it, but I've gotten tired of being lectured about false positives. I dont think its a defender issue because older files still dl ok. My guess is real virus threat.
