Yeah it seems like they are riding the line then. Good thing I back all of this stuff up in case they remove it, and I can't actually buy it anymore which I try to if I can.
I respectfully don't think that would matter. There are a ton of "steamboat willie" games being made right now that are 3d and Disney can't go after them. If the design is the same as the steamboat version and not any later versions it should be fine, especially if they keep it black and white.

Maybe they did? Because on the daz news letter it did mention battlestar galactica and star wars by name, but not on the site.
Maybe they just talked to their lawyers about it or something. But I'm pretty confused by it.
One thing though, i'm actually surprised they haven't done steamboat mickey and minnie character morphs yet.

Except for the addons. They could get away with it if they made the addon textures free the way vanishing point does, but those addons are perfect recreations of star trek uniforms.
I remember them having to remove outfits in the past though. It was some superhero suit. I think it was either Harley quin or Deadpool.

This is also the only daz/poser file sharing site with any sort of community around it which makes it super helpful.

I was thinking the same thing, maybe they havn't been nuked and are just taking it down for maintenance since theyve went offline for a few days before.

Yeah, to me its like a double edge sword. On one hand its annoying they're stealing our posts, on another its good to have back ups to replace dead links with.
Just be careful with Render-state though, you should absolutely have Malwarebytes if you use it a lot, because its constantly blocking malware threats on that site. Having a vpn is a good idea too.
That sucks, at least we still have Render-state as another alternative. But fuck I hope that doesn't happen to this site. It'll be like the trove all over again for me.
You go to the submit post tab on the top page (the one next to community) scroll bar and select add post, then you include the picture along with a mega nz, mediafire, or google link.

.Yeah, i'll probably add a request for that. The Prae hair series has a lot of 80s inspired hair although its not as volumetric and fluffy as I would like. I do have the Sav dynasty hair as well. What I'm really looking for is some 80s hair with giant bows like Mec4Ds.

I find that ironic as fuck. lol. Renderhub content is like the only thing I have ethically zero problem with pirating because of their blatant copyright violations.

The only thing i'm considering buying is some of the marvel/dc costumes since they look better than the free versions out there. And sadly I haven't been able to find Tali or Edi from Mass Effect anywhere else for G8.

Eh, but its more like stuff that's just different enough to get away with. Even Daz content does that sometimes.
