Speaking only for myself and my particular use case, I will be impacted very negativally. For reasons I will not go into, I am unable to buy items or even make accounts with vendor sites to get free items. (I have even resorted to request free items here for points).
My way to get points here is:
- Daily login points.
- Take part in competitions. Sometimes, there are dry spells when there is none available. At the moment, also my laptop is also being repaired so I missed the last few ones.
- I suppose I could reupload dead posts, but out of respect for people who shared said items (and to respect their wishes and also the rules), I don't.
Even though I do not get points for it, I try to give the odd answer to a question someone may have if I happen to have an answer (- still a newbie, so it's a rare event).
That said, I totally understand the problem that has been described and as those immortal words suggest, The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

And right on cue, my workstation (a gaming laptop) has died! Well, hopefully not permanently. I was playing a game when suddenly the screen went black. I could tell that the system kept running normally, just that the screen went off.
Long story short, the screen functions for a second or two when switching the system on and when waking up the system from sleep. Screen uptime is reduced further or eliminated when the laptop gets hot (pretty quickly)!
I use the laptop for rendering and to play games mainly (total use of 4+ hours daily). Unfortunately, the environment is a (chain) smoking one and the local climate makes Hell feel like a nordic paradise!
Thankfully, the warranty still applies so tomorrow I'll take the laptop for analysis and repairs (which hopefully won't take long). I will be out of action for a few days but I hope eveything will be fine by the time the competition starts.
I wanted to ask: do you consider it wise to use such a system to make renders? I use DAZ on the discrete GPU. My reasoning is that if the system is rated to play graphically intensive games safely, it should at least be be competent for rendering (in terms of heat management).

Guess not. So any legal action should be moot.
The legality of ToS is very questionable especially in online cases. On the other hand the service provider is totally within their rights to withhold further service.
This should work in theory:
1) Screenshot.
2) Clean up picture. In particular, replace background colour with transparency. Save in appropriate format to preserve said transparency.
3) Create a new pdf page with saved picture. (You might also get away with Print as PDF or Export as PDF or something similar, depending on what software you have installed. Alternatively, use a free PDF online creator / manipulator).Thanks. Getting there slowly.

Last December, I was hit hard by an illness which disrupted my plans to enter the double contest and I only managed to finish an entry for just one of the contests. (Hence, my more-than-baseline interest in a competition).
Thankfully, while recovery is slow, it should be a near full to full recovery and hopefully I will be working properly again in a few months.
