What I meant to say was I look forward to seeing your entry in my contest and I'm even allowing you to use a image hosting site if your entry may contain nudity or graphics that might offend some of our more sensitive members. If you've got something that inspired you to pursue 3d Art aka digital art, then by all means do enter my contest. Looking at your DA page, you are quite talented. I would love to see your entry and if you don't mind to keep it as 'cleaned up as you would the stuff you post on DA. With that said, if there is still some nudity or graphic image, do use an image hosting site. This thread is for entering this contest (1). There will be a voting thread (2) and then a critiquing (anything you can render, I can render better) thread (3) . That is when you are more than welcome to express yourself or even render something that someone else has made that offends you with clothes on, etc.
On a side-note, here is a thread to a post our Mods made for new persons. It's basically a welcome aboard ZoneGFX. Post something on that thread and the Mods will (should) give you 1000 points. Likewise, I am giving 1000 points for each entry. Not trying to bribe you but share some of the good fortune I have accumulated on this wonderful website. Thank you and get busy rendering:

Yeah, that's me. To be fair, those are just a few tame renders I did a while back. I'm glad you think they look okay, though.
I totally missed this was for a contest. I just read 'What Inspired You To Pursue 3D-Art?' and assumed it was just a discussion on how we got started.
I never thought of it like that, but yes it is a discussion on what got you started to pursue 3d Art. I do apologize for my brusque reply earlier.

Surprised you've shown your hand as this is basically a public forum.I've long ago abandoned any hope of fitting in. There's nothing anyone here can do to me that hasn't already been done to me a million times before.

That series on DA is a bit different from my usual stuff. I did it in POV and with dim lights to bring a sense of closeness and intimacy to the scene. Much better than the clinical, 'distant' copulation often presented in porn.
By fitting in, I mean hiding my weird interests. I have this (admittedly loose) online cover anyway, I don't feel like I have to hide.
Anyway, I will take part. I'll try to make something provocative, but not violent or overly sexual. I'll post it as soon as it's ready.
I was browsing the internet one day and I came across a render someone had done I cant even remember the guys name, what I did see was that he mentioned a programme in there called Daz where you make the kind of renders he was doing, so off I went in search of Daz and downloaded it. I went through the tutorials and followed them to the letter but could still not even come close to the render that inspired me.
I then realised that this guy had a hell of a lot more talent than me but he also had some extra stuff in Daz rather than the basics which honestly led me here, you have to believe me when I say I do not have an artistic bone in my body but have so many ideas which I would love to put on paper but I draw stick figures badly, yet using rendering I can create something from my imagination and put it on screen.
I have only been using Daz for a couple of months and in my opinion have been improving now its time to let loose on the world lol this is probably my best render to date as my rig isnt the best either but that can be upgraded, I know theres no chance of a win either but some constructive criticism and tips wouldnt hurt so here she is my Light Angel

Your Light Angel is spectacular! Some day I'm hoping to do a similarly costumed character. Still transitioning between two different laptop on my end and learning 3D Art through a pair of aging eyes along the way. This community has done more for both the 3d Art community and myself than I could have ever imagined. The truth is you all inspire me. Thank you for your Art and thank you for your entries everyone!
