Please I made this thread to rant about Daz and all the stupid things they have been doing, dont flood it with AI videos.

    @d0gg0d

Why even rig them when AI can probably animate them without a skeleton?
If needed AI could probably rig them now or eventually.

You can make up a person from a few random photos or words.
Have AI construct a 3d model of that person. Place it in a 3d environment generated by a painting or a place, light it with an AI generated HDRI then animate it with prompts. One person with a streamlined workflow could probably do that in what? A few minutes. Maybe a couple hours if started from 0.

This absolutely can be done, right now. Flux.2 can accept 6-10 reference images (depending on which version of flux.2) and it can output from those whatever you want. For instance an image of a person, and 3 images of different clothing. You can then prompt to give images of the person wearing the various clothings. Or you can supply multiple images of the same person to get a good perspective from different angles, then prompt to make that character be in whichever scene you want or whatever pose you want. You can even supply a reference image of a pose, and just have the character assume that pose. It's pretty cool stuff

Is the repeatability issue resolved yet?

For instance, if you are doing a comic single render series, there needs to be continuity in characters & outfits.

For the most part, yes, if using reference images with Flux.2, but of course not on every inference of an image. Its not 100% every single time, but you can always re-run it again in those cases. You can also re-enforce with strong prompting to absolutely maintain particular details, and it will.

see here for more detailed info and examples:
    https://docs.bfl.ai/kontext/kontext_image_editing
    https://docs.bfl.ai/kontext/kontext_text_to_image

And if making animations, what you can do is generate initial frame with flux.2 and then also run wan2.2 for image to video generation, and prompt what you want to happen in the video (what you want the action in the still photo to be)

Both can be run locally (though not at the same time!), I run both on a RTX 3060 12gb and 64gb system ram

AI is affecting Daz. Daz sux without the ability to harness AI properly.
Daz will eventually be Poser. Only a few hard-core loyalist keeping it going. Its suggested only open source 3d programs will survive AI.
Since you seem to oppose any real discussion on why Daz is in decline
I'll post one last video and you can pretend to have a relevant discussion about what you can do to make Daz better without AI integration. I'll no longer respond to this thread because no matter what, Daz is its basically on life support. Any character can be made in seconds with a picture reference. Any pose duplicated with a picture reference. Any item or environment made with a picture reference. You dont need artists anymore. You dont need the Daz shop.
Its one reason Ive lost interest.

That's nice to hear as that's what I've got.

@d0gg0d “Since you seem to oppose any real discussion” is honestly laughable coming from someone who ignored the OP, ignored the topic, and replaced the thread with an unsolicited AI sermon.

You didn’t discuss anything. Your only weapon was a playlist of AI videos, dumped over and over like that somehow substitutes having an actual argument. It doesn’t. It just advertises that you don’t have one.

Repeating the same shallow “AI killed artists and Daz is dead” clichés and flooding the thread with links isn’t insight, it’s noise. Quantity doesn’t equal intelligence, and a YouTube queue isn’t a personality.

Calling Daz “on life support” and announcing your dramatic exit like it’s a mic drop moment doesn’t make you insightful, it makes you predictable. This exact rant has been copypasted by a thousand people who stopped creating and now confuse hype with thinking.

If AI really made skill, judgment, and production irrelevant, you wouldn’t be here preaching and you’d be shipping something. Instead, you hijacked a rant thread, disrespected a clear request, and then accused others of “opposing discussion”.

That’s not discussion. That’s insecurity armed with a playlist.

Threads have a life of their own. The OP doesn't get to control where or how a thread evolves. That's just the way of things on forums that have free speech, like this one.
