I have only changed the glass shaders.
Yeah, those are the priority to fix. The rest of it is not too bad. Specularity seems ok, some imports mess that up. The original model didn't have any normal or bump maps (except for one bump map, for a lemon, and there isn't a single lemon in the set ffs) so we can't do much in that direction.
As a background set it works well enough, although the poly count might be a problem for GPU renders if your card doesn't have much RAM.
January 24, 2022 at 2:19 PM #1770017@kusalkin Technically it is as good as it can. Artistically it has some flaws maybe but as the items are individual it can be handled.
But the size is an issue when working with it, its 60MB on the harddrive, but the main problem is the sheer number of items, it´s a looot! But I think it is doable.
January 24, 2022 at 2:23 PM #1770018Do you have these items? If so can you share them? Specially the meat stuff could b useful...

January 24, 2022 at 3:09 PM #1770031@@Kusalkin, If you don't mind a small bit of advice, once you've got a process that works, make sure you document it for yourself. I'm terrible at doing something like that, then totally forgetting how I did it the next time I need it.
January 24, 2022 at 4:46 PM #1770053@SkippyTheMeh Don't mind at all, good advice, learned that lesson a long time ago. Every project has a notes file. I document the things that didn't work as well as what did 🙂
I can summarise the workflow if you're interested? It's Poser centred though, I couldn't get the multi OBJ import script to work in DAZ. Probably didn't try hard enough since I had something that worked.

No probs. I'll put a link on this thread after lunch (lunch my time, it's 6.30am here). I'll also include the .dufs for Das Studio.January 24, 2022 at 9:34 PM #1770125I have this one for meals, but it's for vray in 3ds Max. I, or you, would have to adapt it from materials.
(this one is not so complicated...) 😀

Was .DUF included from the beginning? Where did you buy it?
January 24, 2022 at 9:45 PM #1770129It looks really good! Is this kind of website useful: https://anyconv.com/max-to-fbx-converter/ ?

The .duf is what I saved the models to in DS. I may have created (can't remember but I usually do) extra material zones so the .duf will have those additional zones to add your own textures/shaders.
Be aware that some of the shaders for those zones in the .duf will probably have broken links as you may not have the same shaders as I used. If fact you'll most likely have to re-link all the texture maps.January 25, 2022 at 12:25 AM #1770145January 25, 2022 at 12:34 AM #1770147January 25, 2022 at 1:15 AM #1770151I found some more meat for ya... meat tray. I put in a hidden sphere to rotate it because some of these fbx models have a wonky centre of rotation. I guess all you guys up north are asleep right now.
