A few AI creations

July 19, 2025 at 4:33 PM #2137007A fantastical clown who is a symbol of putting on a mask to hide one's true feelings or opinions. The character can be interpreted as genderless or as a representation of desire that transcends gender.
August 26, 2025 at 10:21 AM #2142712These are absolutely fantastic! I envy your work, you've really mastered this style!
August 28, 2025 at 2:58 AM #2142917While a lot of AI art looks nice and some down right amazing. I find it difficult to congratulate someone for "their" work at type text prompts until AI spits put something they think is acceptable. I guess I could say nice selection of prompts and dice rolling
August 28, 2025 at 5:37 AM #2142931Cynic - a member of a school of ancient Greek philosophers founded by Antisthenes, marked by an ostentatious contempt for ease and pleasure.
August 29, 2025 at 6:24 AM #2143034Ungifted - not having any special or extraordinary talent.
Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, difficulty… I have never in my life envied a human being who led an easy life. I have envied a great many people who led difficult lives and led them well” ~ Theodore Roosevelt
I'm sure most people can find some random reference to legitimize their opinion or counter another's.
August 29, 2025 at 7:07 AM #2143042From my experience those living difficult or painful lives have brought it upon themselves through stupidity or bad judgement, the prisons are full of them. With some exceptions of course.

Not everyone is in control of their environment, position in life or their ability to handle or comprehend how to resolve problems. Some may overcome or even prosper but if everyone were capable there would be little need for AI to basically do art for them. AI is just another step in having someone else do the work for you. With Daz the artist make the models and you pose them. AI you type words and roll dice. legitimize the lack of talent any way that makes you feel comfortable but it wont change what it is. The internet has labeled it AI slop for a reason.

This slop took about a minute to type, print and run through an enhancer (2 free programs)
I guess if you want to count rewording and re-rolling as some sort of effort to get better random results than this, that might count as effort of sorts but, congratulating someone on telling what AI to randomly generate is something I'd rarely do. Maybe if they found an inventive way to use it but this isn't it.
August 30, 2025 at 12:02 AM #2143174To tell the truth Adam, I've become increasingly less interested in AI and don't use it much anymore. As you say it's very limited in user input.
August 30, 2025 at 6:23 AM #2143198What have you moved to or have you returned to Daz?
August 30, 2025 at 10:33 AM #2143247@d0gg0d @frank22 I don't know if either of you has paid a visit to Night Café recently, but regular visitors there will know that you don't even have to come up with your own prompts anymore. The site will create a prompt for you based on previous creations or whatever the theme of the day happens to be.
Here's one it knocked up for me.
Now, I need to point out that there were half a dozen or so prompts to choose from, and it took me a good 20 seconds to make up my mind on which one to choose, so it's not like I did absolutely nothing.

No Adam, not back to DS. If I could make something like this in DS .... but I know I can't. I just play with AI from time to time trying to produce images that don't look like the 90% of rubbish that some people think is great art. I guess that's entirely subjective. I do like the AI oddball characters.
ps. I tried to reproduce the Lali dance scene for you Adam but it's very wonky (NSFW) and lacks the cuteness of the Erogenesis one.
September 2, 2025 at 11:59 AM #2143666@d0gg0d The "prompt hero" concept is archaic at this point. ChatGPT creates my prompts, not me. I just tell it to give me 10 prompts, indicating style, mood, etc, making modifications as I go.
The effort, as in anything in life, is only done by a few creative people, despite the inherent limitations or options of the medium.
In the case of AI image generation, that is achieved locally, and only by some people, creating a custom program (called a workflow in the lingo of a certain UI called comfyui where that is possible) to generate and process the image in multiple iterations/steps and testing and finding the right combination among the dozens of dials, options, nodes, etc. And that has to be done for each model (there are currently 4 main models I am using atm)
Workflow Example (one of many I have created):

These are the options in just one node:

So, I hope you understand now why i find your argument reductive. It applies to most people, but not to everyone. Also, it does take effort and ingenuity, just not an artistic one, but a technical one, and the prompt is just one small cog in the equation.

I'll try to show my perspective be it right/wrong or fair/unjustLets say I draw a map of how I want my yard landscaped. I hire a company and go on vacation. I say don't call me and Ill be back in a week.
In a week I get back and it looks a bit off. I call the company and they say:
Sorry but the location you had one of the trees was over a water pipe. We had to move it 5 ft away to be safe.
The gravel you wanted is no longer imported so we got a similar gravel from a different location.
The flowers you wanted are out of season so we selected what was in season.
The man laying the path is new and he made the path a little wider than you suggested.
Other than that everything looks fine. You decide its close enough and have a coming home party. You tell all your friends how hard you worked to get the yard just right.
This is my second writing, Computer deleted the first and it was a bit more polished.
