I'm not sure where you come up with that number. I ran Folding at home for a month, only when I was seeping at night. My electricity bill increased by well over $100 compared to the month before and the month after. I also live where electricity isn't that expensive.

My friend~ The 'thumbnail issue' you mentioned is just a feature of Image Path - Render Gallery but also an annoying feature as you said. Lots of us did not use Render Gallery from very beginning. Suggest you consider using: Image Path - Custom Directory...

Then have a Image Viewer opened when rendering your work. You can fast review the render after saving...
The path will be memorized. If you need a new render path, you can change it at any time, for instance, saving to folders by Episode or Volumn...

Hi, Does iray server require the exact same GPUs to work?

@ronson247 , No. Like a Cinema 4d ("Render team" feature) , you can use any GPU to joint in a LAN network. Is like a little "cluster"...

@Abad Thanks for the answer. one more question: my older gpu only supports dx 11. and it is has ddr5 memory. and my current gpu has ddr6, it also supports dx12. would it work if I pair these two cards through iray server?

@ronson247 , In theory, it should work...Try it (And you can always use the CPU as an alternative...).
