Just a silly question, last time you updated Daz, did you also install the latest default resources download?
January 13, 2018 at 3:46 am #458189it should be the opposite. Crappy in the free program. Good in the purchased program. LOL especially since they link up. 😉
January 13, 2018 at 3:47 am #458191ummm. don't have a clue.. to be honest.

January 13, 2018 at 4:02 am #458201Just to give you an update. I didn't get a default resource for 4.10. I did however get one for 4.9 and it WAS installed.
January 13, 2018 at 4:03 am #458203LOL... OK, I just did another update for the 4.10 and already had the 4.9 default resource installed.
January 13, 2018 at 4:03 am #458204Your up to date then, that just strange is doesn't show up.
January 13, 2018 at 4:04 am #458205Ah, that maybe your problem right there.
January 13, 2018 at 4:11 am #458209Nope. still didn't show up. I tried to create a subfolder category for Iray in the surface/shaders, but still nothing. I was able to pull other shaders over though. Oh well. I know where it is now.
January 13, 2018 at 4:15 am #458210it may just be the fact I've installed so many extra Iray Add-on's that it shows up that way for me, not sure what the glitch is.
but at least you found it and can get it to work now.January 13, 2018 at 4:21 am #458215Yup... I'm a happier Dragon. I really appreciate everyones time in helping me. I try to research as much as possible before asking questions.
