I got around to getting the public build for DS6. Shall play around with it a little more tomorrow. So far all I've done is load my library into it. Should log in also (that can be done tomorrow). Might make me think about buying RTX50 series graphic card at some stage.
I did notice that some of the scripts still fail (usually texture transfer scripts), but most of them work now, even many of the older ones.
They have yet another release out as of this morning, by the way.
@joelj no matter what - it's exciting what direction DS takes and can take! - so - thanks for any updates/views on DS, it's appreciated.
At this point I only want to know if they are nose diving with all the shitty decisions like NFT and falling for AI twice and failing.
It is interesting to watch. I've been thinking what DAZ3d will be like in the future, with what is happening with Nvidea and their announcement of that new laptop.
@pooper Agree - it may well be that G9 is a death knell, but DS is still an insanely exciting platform in my humble opinion. But whether it will continue to be so (I hope) but I have (like many others) my doubts due to AI and the decisions - folks DS chooses to make.
